Description
This Ivalo scenery is mostly a conversion of my older scenery for Ivalo with some additional objects. I have made EFIV scenery for 3 different sims counting this one. The terminal building and apron area has had a few extensions and is modelled here as the state is in 2021.
The scenery covers Ivalo airport and includes a custom aerial image for the airport area.
INSTALLATION
* Remove other EFIV/Ivalo sceneries you might have installed.
* Copy finland-ivalo-2021 folder to your Community folder.
IMPORTANT
* I sincerely recommend (it's almost required) DEM for Finland - AP heightmaps by Morko
Morko's heightmap is by far the best model of the EFIV terrain
* If you don't have Navigraph subscription for charts you can get official Finland AIP charts from here: Finland AIP
KNOWN ISSUES
The snow modelling is not very realistic at the moment in the FS2020, the winter scene does not look very good but for time being that's what we have.

Super Job! Some friendly improvement suggestions: You could make a small compromise by making the runway color just a little bit darker so that it wouldn't be completely covered in snow (it's a weird way how the sim puts more snow on lighter than darker areas) because now it is actually quite hard to land on the runway that's completely white. The ATC tower glass textures at night look a bit disturbingly bright. Btw mind sharing how you get such great draw distance for your custom blue taxiway lights, something i've been struggling myself? Thank you!

Thank you. Yeah, the snow model as I mentioned in the readme is not very good in FS right now. I'll take a look about the ground colors.
The tower windows night lights are a real photo, I doubt it would look good dimming them. The other option is to remove lights from those windows alltogether.

Nice atmosphere and solid build!
First I was wondering why I could not set the start to the smaller crossing runway which is accessible in the vanilla version. But I guess this is just more realistic as this runway is not in use anymore.
I would spend you a Paypal coffe for this work, but found no link.

Thank you. Yes, the "side runway" hasn't been used for years other than as a taxiway. The other end is used for car testing purposes. Many Finnish airports had crossing runways but aren't used anymore.

This is payware level, as usual with Tatu's scenery. Awsome runway textures and environnement. Thank you for the MSFS version of your Ivalo scenery !It was worth the wait :)
