    Aermacchi MB-339 RNZAF NZ6470 - Image 1

    Description

    This folder contains a repaint for the Aermacchi MB-339 by IndiaFoxtEcho for MSFS2020, in the colors of NZ6470 of 14 Sqn RNZAF, based in Ohakea. The aircraft, built in 1991 as c/n 6801/174, went to the US in 2013, becoming N344EM with Draken International. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by IndiaFoxtEcho.

    Version 2:
    I found more details about this paintscheme and made some small  adjustments to the camouflage pattern, corrected the font for the numbers and added a few more markings. I also gave the pilots NZ badges on their sleeves and plain white helmets. Just overwrite the texture folder in your community folder if you installed the first version earlier, otherwise follow the instructions .

    The update caused an issues with cockpit textures. Applying the prior fix to the 'model.cfg' file in the 'MODEL.JK_RNZAF' folder resolved this again.

    Where did you get the template you mentioned in the dowload?

    I love this skin and can’t wait to purchase the aircraft, paint it up this 14 Squadron livery and attempt the Mach loop. Just an observation, the number in the illustration is NZ6470 and the actual plane is given as NZ4670 ?

    Works beautifully. I've been flying this through the Mach Loop in Wales. Your liveries make it all the more enjoyable. Thank you.

    Updated to the latest 'drop in community folder' version with a clean install of both Aermacchi 339 and the livery. Cockpit view has the pilot sharing he cockpit with me so I'm looking out of his face. No problem with other Aermacchi liveries that come with the aircraft. Any ideas how to fix?

    I'm not sure what caused this suddenly, butcould you try the following to see if it works:
    In the 'model.cfg' file that you find in the 'MODEL.JK_RNZAF' folder replace the first paragraph of text under [model options] with this:

    [model.options]
    withExterior_showInterior=false
    withExterior_showInterior_hideFirstLod=true
    withInterior_forceFirstLod=true
    withInterior_showExterior=false

    and let me know if this solved it for you?

    MSFS updated to Version 1.10.11.0 (Update #6) today, so I confirmed the issue was still persistent after the update (and it was). I then applied your fixes to model.cfg and I can confirm this resolved the issue for me. Thanks.
