Lockheed L-18 Lodestar update
Thank you for all the constructive feedback received, this allows me to present a more complete and final version of this aircraft.
Changes:
Now uses KingAir cockpit so that throttle, mixture and trim can be adjusted from cockpit - can also shut down engines.
She can be steered during taxi and on runway.
Six new liveries: Panam, United, Trans Australian Airlines, RAF Transport, KLM and TWA.
Watch out for cockpit animations !!
Flight dynamics also slightly adjusted . . . . now she flies even better . . .
What she cannot do: Cannot start engines manually, only cold start on runway, sorry.
. . and no new cockpit, my modeling skills does not allow for that, so this is the final version of the Lodestar.

Three models show white tyres . . . the new upload fixes that. I do apologise as this is a big download ! Alternatively, just copy the texture "tiretreadnew.dds" from any other livery who has this texture, and drop it into the livery which shows white tyres, like "Private", "SAA" for instance. Reload MSFS. Where to find: Community folder > Lockheed L-18 Lodestar > Simobjects > Airplanes > Lockheed L-18 Lodestar > now you see all texture files. Click on texture.Aerotran, copy the texture "tiretreadnew.dds", and paste into texture files as required: Private SAA Blue2307K etc where required. I do apologise.

Z11L - Leipheim
The Z11L - Leipheim add-on modifies the airport scenery by replacing a large hangar next to the runway with three smaller, more realistic hangars. It also includes the addition of an ATC control tower and static aircraft to enhance the visual experience at the airfield. Proper installation requires placing the extracted folder into the Community folder, along with the necessary totof-aircraft library v4 for the static elements to function correctly.

When you select/plan your flight, choose to spawn on the runway, the engines will be running already.

Not working, takes off and flys nice for a couple of minutes, then bigins shacking and climbing like crazy then I have no control ?

I have fixed the tyre problem, and new aircraft file uploaded. I apologise for having to download this again ! For those who don't want to download the aircraft again: you can copy the texture "tiretreadnew.dds" from any of the other liveries who has this texture, and then paste into the texture folder (livery) where required. e-mail me if you have problems, I can also send you the texture (armithea@gmail.com)

Love the plane and the latest tweaks, especially the new cockpit. I know you said this was the final version, but roughly half the models now have white wheels and tires (including the first one, the orange livery and Pan American). Any chance you could tweak that before putting it to bed? Many, many thanks if you can.
Again, most enjoyable to fly and to listen to in 3rd person. Kudos!

This plane is a blast to fly!Very nice flight characteristics,as long as you keep the throttle back.I took off and was at 220 soon after.Just backed off and cruised around NYC at 160.Handles very much like a true tail dragger on the ground.Beautiful effort!
