New airfield scenery for NHMS Newhall Mains Hotel Airstrip in Scotland.
This is a basic creation of a real & fairly new airfield. Not yet shown on google maps.
V4.0 Has all new "Landable" oil platforms installed in Cromarty firth.
All are now landable & positioned correctly. Some texture improved & parking spot added for cold starts. Floating helipad resolved.
Note: This additional file is recommended for correct Helipad Textures. North Europe oil/gas offshore installations - Landable!
New vers 5.0 Runway cones replaced with correct models. Some textures changed & runway centre line removed. Note: This additional file is required for runway cones to appear. See link below

After unzipping place the folder "sac-airport-nhms-newhall-mains-hotel-airfield" into your MSFS community folder. Also this additional library "domtom69-librairie-balisage" see download link above.
For updates just replace folder with latest version.

That's is really smashing that thank you. It took me a little while to work out why I couldn't see any rigs or hotel then I remembered you like to hide the folder to put into the community folder one step down in the zip file. Not sure any other authors do that? I just unzip directly into my community.

Just 'discovered' this field on a Flying Reporter video and was surprised to find it here so I can fly to it on MSFS! Great! The real-world designation is GB-0887.
I notice on the screenshots there are runway markings? On the hard-to-finds videos and pictures of the real world counterpart, I see there are none in reality, but that's just a minor "comment" for this otherwise fantastic creation and as I haven't been able to go there, I'm not 100% sure of the current state. Thank you very much!

Thanks, I hope to update soon with landable helipads on the rigs in the cromarty firth. Be good to also model the hotel correctly sometime.

Thanks so much. One thing I noticed there wasn't a parking position at the airfield where the 2 static planes were. Would love that to be added in the future if possible. Thank you so much for doing these little airfield upgrades! Makes the GA flying so much fun. Will be downloading Easter later on tonight. All the best 👍

The scenery is based upon Newhall Mains Hotel, Balblair, By Dingwall, Ross-shire, Scotland, UK. It appears to be an old building , now restored with totally new airstrip.
Hope all works ok my first attempt !

Yes its a shame you cant land on the oil rigs! I have managed a poor attempt to enable that & will probable realease it soon "Clipper offshore rig in North sea".
