    The scenery is designed to provide a good VFR flight from EGCB up to the city.
    This scenery includes Manchester city centre, Spinning Fields, Castlfied, Manchester Towers, Piccadilly, Etihad stadium complex, while part 2 contains Old Trafford football Ground, cricket ground and immediate area, some of Salford Quays, Trafford park, The Trafford Centre and local Barton (EGCB) landmarks all with custom night lighting and LOD's for performance.
    .
    Sceneries can be used stand alone but are interdependent for some fixes etc so you won't get the best experience unlss use all p1 or all p2 or both togteher for the optimum experience.

    Installation
    All scenery folders must be removed from the main folder "Manchester P1.zip" and placed directly into your MFS2020 Community Folder to Work.
    Lightmod must be placed in community folder for custom night lighting to work.

    I just falled in love with Manchester thanks to your mod because it revelates all her beauty!! And later i came back at night and falled in love again!! xD Yeah, you are true, with the 3 parts the fps drops but not a problem at all, I prefer limiting the fps to 30 at the nvidia panel, reducing render scale to 90, view distance to 100, buildings to medium, grass to medium, and clouds quality to high (16GB RAM gtx1080), to admirate the beauty and the very detailed scenary, it´s worth!! cheers :)

    Thank you for those kind words and so glad you are enjoying the scenery.
    You may know Asobo are bringing out an update for the UK scenery in January which will include the local EGCB Barton airport.

    After it is released I will revisit these sceneries and see what needs to be done and if they can be improved.

    Superb Stuff, I work near Trafford Park and almost everything is spot on....well done.
    I actually downloaded the lot which was probably not a good idea as I'm running in 4K so like a lot of people I'm getting chucked out to the Desktop after say 20 minutes, I have a serious Piece of kit, but it takes a real hit on all the Data, so I guess it might be better just to load one or two areas at a time...looking forward to further updates from you and if you could add Salford as well it would be great.

    That is a bit concerning.
    Is it just this scenery that is happening to you or with other sceneries or the sim itself?

    Personally I have not experienced it yet and I only have a moderate rig (i5 6600K and RTX 2070 though I do have 32GB RAM, how about you?).

    If it is the scenery then I can only assume it is texture/memory related.
    I have read in the official forum of quite a few people getting CTD since the last patch so it may just be a memory leak which combined with high memory use exacerbates the issue.

    Please keep me informed because if it is the scenery then I will look for a fix but I will have to wait until after any patch that fixes the current CTD issues to rule that out.

    Thanks for the reply, yerah I agree with you, I hav e 17 10 gen 5.0GB processor 64GB Ram and 1080TI with SSD HD's
    43 inch Philips Monitor - so plenty to do the job.
    It doesnt do that on any "standard" scenery that MIcrosoft provide, and interestingly if I load up Manchester and leave it on the front screen before hitting the fly button it will freeze and then CTD without actually flying, if I fly then it works for say 2 minutes then CTD Load times are not an issue, and graphically its great.
    I tried Trafford Park, and got the not enough bandwidth error, when I removed that it didnt show the error again, 200mb Virgin so no way is the bandwidth being squeezed
    As a point of interest I dropped the res to 1080P to try and the same issues.
    So, thats something to ponder on....:) still great work u are doing.... Steve

    OK heres an update, I made some changes to the Memory, Speed and Power overclock on the GPU and it looks like thats done the fix, no crash to desktop so far, added the Etihad and Old Trafford, Frame rate loss not noticeable, Ill test further and keep you posted :)

    Ah good news, especially if it saves me work :D
    I thought it odd since I have been in the editor for hours with the sceneries loaded and not had a CTD as well as flown the area for an hour or so testing.
    I was going to say it is not bandwidth issue since the data is on your drive and not being streamed in.
    Hopefully now you can properly enjoy the scenery.

    This is the ultimate ! Beyond payware, the colours are magnificent ,the night lighting stunning, just 10/10 thanks and congratulations you are the new King of the North west.

    EGCB is crying out for your help ,Irlam could do with being done as it is the main approach ,and just to put the icing on the Cake ......perhaps have a crack at the ship canal locks over the area.
    Used in conjunction with MFSF add-on linker ,every thing is beyond my imagination ,thanks and i hope you can make the above 10/10

    Many thanks for the compliment and the rating - makes it all worthwhile.

    I have deliberately left the actual airfield alone as I expect a good pay-ware option will soon be available and photogrammetry wouldn't do it full justice.

    I may take a look at areas around the airfield such as Irlam at a later date (not too distant future) for a new pack.

    I am currently working on special project for the Manchester area which may or may not bear fruit.
    The existing packs will receive occasional tweaks and small improvements too.

    The beauty of it is putting the sceneries into separate packs , rather than tweaking everything also it gives the user options to choose from whats out there ,although yours are no 1 for me ,thanks again.

    Yes I appreciate it is a large pack and people may want to pick and choose what they include.
    That is a bit of a double edged sword though as it means lot of folders in your community pack and that some sceneries may not be the optimum without a partner pack.
    Still, the user gets the choice.

    Downloaded, tried this & part 2 today for the first time. Moved all to community as requested. Flew around & realised that parts from the sample pictures were missing. Neither downloaded packages contain Salford Quays or Old Trafford & total file size is 1.67GB. Not the 1.96GB listed here.

    Two packs included in the original download for part 2 are missing from the update!
    Old Trafford and Salford Quays.

    This is an error I will rectify ASAP.

    The packages for Manchester (part 2) have already been updated with the missing folders.
    The Trafford Park, Salford Quays and Old Trafford sceneries are semi-dependent so it was an important omission. They can be used stand alone but you may get some broken buildings etc.
