    Disclaimer: This is a huge photogrammetry package and might need higher PC specs to perform well!


    This download features photogrammetry data of the inner city / old town of Linz, Austria as well as the nearby Pöstlingberg.


    Linz is the capital city of Upper Austria and third-largest city in Austria. It is located in the country's northern part, on the Danube 30 kilometres (19 miles) south of the Czech border. In 2018, the population was 204,846.
    Fly from LOWL (LinzInternational Airport).

    Features
    Color corrected photogrammetry data of the complete inner city of Linz as well as the Pöstlingberg.
    Added some night lighting at old town center, as google photogrammetry is pretty dark at night.

    Known Issues
    Mediocre GPU performance above the city center.
    Green color (foliage) still slighty to bright in comparison with Bing maps generic color.

    I am currently working on fixing these issues.

    How to install?

    As per usual just unzip the download with WinRAR or a similar software and copy both folders it into your Community-folder. If you struggle with this, please refer to one of the many great tutorials out there.

    Tolles Pack mit toller Performance. Einziges manko ist das nicht alle Krankenhäuser drin sind und das die Helipads auf den krankenhäusern keine Kollision haben und deshalb nicht anfliegbar sind. ebenso wären Landespolizeidirektion Gruber und Nietzschestraße schön. LG aus Linz!

    Now is ok.. I had to update the Xbox app. Now it works fine.. It was wrong for the sim to crash 😊

    First: Thanks for this great mod! I enjoyed it very well.

    but:

    Since SU5 it isn't loading anymore. i just see the normal/vanilla area of Linz without your great visual improvements.

    Thanks. I will probably wait until World Update 6 to see, what kind of fixes have to be done. I honestly do not have the time to fix it now just so I have to fix it again in a few weeks.

    Thanks a lot! Yes, photogrammetry can be heavy on cpu and ram, so hopefully your framerate won't go down. If it does. simply delete the folder again and everything should be fine :)

    Impressive work! Extremely realistic! Is it normal, that the area around the central station is not included? If so, is it to possible to add this area later?

    This scenery crashed my fs2020. the starting sequence of the sim was very very slow after pulling this scenery into the sim. next thing is, that no other airports could be selected. so i have to deinstall and install the whole sim again. Same problem on my buddies computer after installing Linz scenery. Strange, because all your other sceneries works well

    I can guarantee you, that these issues have nothing to do with my addon in particular. What are the specs of your computer? I think you overloaded it, as photogrammetry data in general (thus all photogrammetry sceneries available on this website) is pretty demanding on GPU and RAM.
