Description
Christchurch, New Zealand. Tested with the orbx mesh but should work with the default (which is terrible and full of non existent hills).
This is an alternative to my earler scenery (https://flightsim.to/d/spas3man/christchurch-new-zealand). This has fewer buildings but they are much more detailed and I've added ones built since the earthquakes. This scenery will receive lots of updates over the coming year. I plan to add:
Hagley Oval
The old post office
City Council and Ecan
Spark, Vodafone, Westpac and BNZ offices.
The Strip
The Crossing and Ballantynes
The convention centre (that's going to be a challenging build!)
Christchurch, New Zealand
Explore a detailed rendition of Christchurch, New Zealand, featuring updated and more accurate buildings, including notable landmarks such as Hagley Oval and The Strip. Keep an eye out for future updates as the scenery continues to evolve.

Just want to say thanks for the effort you put into this, even with photogrametry coming, its been brilliant for several years now, so thank you for supporting NZ flightsim.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to WU12. I can now just enjoy flying instead of spending hours modelling in sketchup.

I'm going to be cheeky and ask a silly question, now. Why do the ground texturea usually look so bad in scenery add-ons? Sort of undefined. Is there no way to provide "real" roads and verges, or is it just to darned difficult to do easily?
I think I've just answered my own question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E11XsrBdzcg

Having been to Christchurch it is great to see someone improving the scenery. Is it possible to add the Christchurch Cable Car? Keep the improvements comings.

I'll have a look into this for the next release. At some point I want to redo the hospital amd add the new buildings. Maybe I'll add the helipad on the roof then.
