Description

N674US was the last 747 Delta owned. Originally delivered to Northwest Airlines in October 1999, the aircraft was transferred when Northwest merged with Delta Air Lines in October 2008. The aircraft remained in operation until it was stored in January 2018.

This livery is a full vectored decal with no pixelation which reduces the file size by over 50% than the traditional albedo texturing.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. I already replied to your PM that I've updated the colour blue in Version 1.1 and included a reason why the Delta title is in the position it is in:

"I am aware the Delta title is not in the same position from the 747-400. I took some artistic license which I've had to do with all my liveries to adapt them to better suit the 747-8 and seeing there is now enough room to position the logo between Door 1 and Door 2, that is what I decided on. It is also inline with other aircraft in that livery that put the title between the two forward doors just above the row of windows. With the extended hump and door placements changed, putting the logo where it was on 400 looked wrong and ugly."

Fantastic job on this Delta livery! It's a shame Delta retired their 747s before I ever got to fly on one, but at least now I can recreate the experience of flying on one in MSFS! Also, I see that you're taking requests for 747 liveries and was wondering if maybe you would be interested in creating a present-day Japan Airlines livery for the 747.

I believe someone who created a JAL ages ago has updated it to non-mirrored version of I’m not mistaken. If not, JAL is on my list. Ensure you make a request on the requests page and I’ll get to it eventually.

There is a non-mirrored 1990s Japan Airlines 747 livery but not one with their current livery. If you want to eventually create the livery, I did make a request a few months ago:
