    Description

    New Mukah Airport Opens, Replacing Previous Mukah Stolport 

    Mukah Airport (IATA: MKM, ICAO: WBGK) is an airport in Mukah, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia.

    The new terminal will be able to accommodate up to 200 passengers at any one time as compared to the STOLport that could only handle 67 passengers. At 3,120sqm, the terminal can cater up to 264,000 passengers per annum. As for the new runway, it is 1.5km in length which is suitable for turboprop and helicopter operations. It can also be potentially extended for larger jet airliners, such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 in the future.

    Situated 7km from Mukah town, MKM is built upon 285 acres of land area, with a new terminal building, runway, Air Traffic Control Tower, offices, VIP Building, fire station and passenger waiting facilities. Other airport stakeholders’ offices are housed here as well, namely the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and Meteorological Department (MET). This new airport is also equipped with 100 parking bays, 20 taxi parking bays, 20 motorcycle parking bays and 2 bus parking bays for the convenience of the public. 

    ** The new airport hasn't been included in most recent AIRAC data, MSFS still uses the old airport's coordinates. Please use VMH VOR for approaches.

    Checked it again. Seems the map tool killed your grass textures. Without it it's ok but then it looks quite isolated with no ground textures around. Still great work!

    Comparing it to your screenshots I don't seem to get the underlying grass which should cover up that problem. Weird...

    Thank you for your outstanding work. However I notices that the whole airport is off from the satellite picture so it looks weird, like having a duplicate runway and everthing else a little offset.
    I'm using the maps tool with the latest Bing textures. Could that be the problem?

    Makseh bnyk boss, for creating this mod for us. Ever since last week when the airport was opened ive kept my fingers crossed for someone to create it... Then theres this masterpiece. Very good one boss, im sure more update is to come as time progresses
