Description
Lindsey Oil Refinery is an oil refinery in North Killingholme, Lincolnshire, England owned by The Prax Group. It lies to the north of the Humber Refinery, owned by rival oil company Phillips 66, and the railway line to Immingham Docks. Immingham Power Station, owned by VPI Immingham, provides the electricity and heat for the fractionation processes.
It processes approximately 10,000,000 tons of crude oil per year, or 200,000 barrels per day via two pipelines. This makes Lindsey Britain's third largest oil refinery, and it produces around 35 types of product. Crude oil is imported via two pipelines, connecting the 1,000-metre jetty five miles away at Immingham Dock, to the refinery.
This scenery plug-in provides:
- Lindsey Oil Refinery
- Phillips 66 / Humber Refinery
- VPI Immingham Power Station
Please note that this is a visual quantity rather than visual quality plugin and is intended to improve the Lincolnshire skyline for VFR flight. Assets should match their real world counterparts in size and colour but may not exactly match in the same way my other plugins try to do.
Please see the attached PDF file inside the zip file which covers: Installation; Finding the community folder; Licensing; Credits; Contacts; Change Log.
This scenery works very nicely with other plugins I developed for the area:
Immingham Docks
Grimsby Dock Tower
Spurn Point Landmarks
Humber Bridge Enhancement
Belmont Transmitter
EGNJ Humberside Airport
See you in the Sim!

I had quite a nice double landmark release planned for the end of this week, but there's been a recent SDK update which has stopped custom scenery projects in their tracks by the looks of things. Should be able to build up a decent back catalogue of new assets in the mean time ;)

Please consider doing Faweley refinery and power station as it's a bit flat at the moment!

Thanks for the stars and sorry for the late reply. We're out of action for the time being, looks like a bit of a hiccup with todays SDK update and developers can't add any custom 3D models. I'll see what I can do whilst they're sorting it out. Nice shots by the way, haven't had my Mavic Air out for ages!

This was a tough one, storage tanks were easy enough, just a bit time consuming. Getting my head around a refinery which is just pipes, heaters and condensers really took quite some time to figure out how to make 'props' that look like a refinery. Tis done though, approach to Humberside with all the add-ins should be reasonably close to reality.
Need a few bits adding up the coast now, then the Lincolshire historical bush trip! :)

Thanks for the comment! I'll look into that refinery, they are all the same really. Great that you're developing the area!
