    Description

    This A388 Livery is inspired by the early teasers for the Lufthansa 100-Year Anniversary Liveries.
    Since details are only available for the B789 yet, I left some of the detail like name in registration out for now. 
    Feel free to let me know if you know more details, with sources.

    Installation:

    Copy folder from inside the zip file into your MSFS community directory.

    FAQ:

    - Addon causes errors on extraction

    Windows has a legacy limitation to a maximum path length of 256 characters. This often raises problems while extracting.

    1. Remove legacy path length limitation using this guide (recommended):

    2. Option shorten path (dirty)
    shorten path, either by renaming the addon base directory or changing the MSFS community path

    3. Move community directory
    you can move your community packages directory so that the full install path is not that long anymore.

    4. Use Addon Manager

    Addon linker allows you to install all addons to a directory and load (link) them into the community directory dynamically.

    - There are differences to the real livery, can you adapt it?

    This Addon was created very early when onl y promotional material available. Adapting mayor alignments would mean to start over from scratch. I may do a v2.0 but it is not planned for the near future. I expect there to be a new version for the Inibuilds A380 soon anyway

    The Livery ist good but the Lufthansa Logo on the Wingtip is wrong. Lufthansa had no Logo on the Wingtip.

    they are different versions: latest, april fools, copatibility, see version number. the size is normal for just textures, no model.

    I can't get it to move into my community folder because the registry editor fix (Yes, the one you suggested) doesn't change Explorer's inability to move/extract files with a long path. This is something that cannot be fixed, will the liveries work without those files?

    no, Try to use one of the other suggested methods then.
    Maybe you need another reboot (not shutdown) until the changes show effect.

    Very nice. Just one thing, the sharklets in real life do not have the lufthansa logo. Also, the logo should be a little bit lower, and the 1926|2026 text should be a little larger.

    you are right.
    this livery was created at a time where there was only promotional material. Adaption would most likely require to redo a v2.0 from scratch. I will do that eventually.
    To be honest I expect everyone to move to the Inibuilds A380 once it is released and forgt this livery anyway ...
