Hi all.

I thought it was time to share a look at Hamilton Airport (NZHN), currently in development by KiwiFlightSim for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.

The project includes custom terminal exterior and interior modelling, accurate gate and apron layouts, custom ground service equipment, and surrounding airport buildings. I’m putting plenty of attention into the smaller details too from signage and airport furniture to building lighting to help capture Hamilton’s character.

I’ll use this thread to share progress screenshots and updates as development continues. Everything shown is still a work in progress, so expect some changes along the way!

If you fly into Hamilton regularly, work around the airport, or know it well, I’d love to hear your feedback. Recent reference photos and details that are easy to miss would be especially helpful.

There’s no release date to announce just yet, but you can follow the project at https://kiwiflightsim.com

Cheers,
KiwiFlightSim
