Every model in the scenery has been handcrafted from scratch, including a newly built ATC tower that replaces the default representation. The attention to detail extends across the airport's ramp areas, hangars, fencing, and supporting infrastructure — all built to reflect the real-world layout of Teterboro as faithfully as possible. One of the more notable features is the inclusion of eight open hangars with animated doors. These doors operate on a real-world schedule, opening at 6:00 AM and closing at midnight. Outside of those hours, the doors can still be toggled open or closed by hiding or unhiding the flight yoke.
The New Jersey Meadowlands area around Teterboro is known to be demanding, even before custom scenery is added to the mix. To address this, the package has been structured in a modular fashion, allowing you to selectively remove components if they encounter frame rate issues. Ground vehicles and parked aircraft can be reduced, the CGL directory can be removed entirely, and individual fence directories within the scenery folder can be stripped out as needed — all without breaking the core functionality of the airport. This kind of user-friendly architecture is a practical and considerate approach for a scenery of this scale.
