First, thank you for hosting the best MSFS freeware site.

Second, can you please fix the issue I've described above? It can be frustrating to be 3-4 pages into a search for a particular addon/repaint/scenery, etc., click on one of those to see its details, click the "Back" button on the website (not the browser), and your entire search is wiped and you're taken back to the front page of the search screen.... You then have to restart your search, skip all the pages you've seen, then repeat the same process to find what you're looking for. I don't recall this being a problem with the prior version of the website. Could you please look into this and fix it so that when we hit the "Back" button, we're taken back to the page of results on which we were previously? Thank you for your time and efforts.

This is SUPER annoying!! Imagine trying to browse and download repaints from Jan Kees Bloom.... constantly having to scroll to the bottom and click through pages just to get back to where I was. And obviously using the back button on the browser is utterly useless in this regard, too. I'm fine with just making the back button work on your page.

Edit: And then I realized I could right click the download I want to download and select "New Tab" and not lose my position on the original tab... but, still, it would be nice if the <-Back button worked properly.

This should have been resolved by the update being deployed tonight. Please try again tomorrow and let us know if the issue persists. If it does, please provide a specific example.

It's still broken. I've I'm paging through, for instance, the latest scenery uploads, and I go to page 2 or any other page, if I download a package and hit back, it takes me back to page 1 again. I'm using Firefox.

Which page specifically? We've tested accross all category pages (for example: https://flightsim.to/scenery/popular/4) and it's working. If you're on the homepage, navigating back will throw you back to page one, that is intended, and you need to open those addons in a new tab.

Sorry, I was distracted and thought I was being clear. I wasn't. From the home page.

    https://flightsim.to/

Click on 2 at the bottom. Open a link. Download the app (that step might be necessary, but it's what I did). Click on the page to bring it back in focus from the popup, click on back, it takes you back to the home page.

It is broken again. Yesterday, I was browsing TimH's repaints, and every time I clicked on one of his addons, and then went back, it took me to the very first page of the search. I think your AI website creator defaults to this, so every time you update the website, the same problem comes back.

As already mentioned, if you're on the homepage, navigating back will throw you back to page one, that is intended, and you need to open those addons in a new tab. The homepage is no navigation in the traditional sense.

Which page specifically, what are the steps to reproduce the issue? Just tested several searches and it works fine.

For example, search TimHH, go to the 3rd or 4th page of his addons, click on one of the repaints to view, then hit either the browser back button or the "back" button on the website, AND.... you're right back to page 1. If it's intended to throw you back to the home page, it doesn't. It takes you back to the first page of the search. It should NOT be intended; it's annoying as h3ll. Please fix so we don't lose our place.

This is very odd. I tested it with Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and haven't had any issues. What browser are you using?

I don’t personally use this browser, but DuckDuckGo is known for its privacy-first design. It’s possible that some of its privacy features prevent the browser from saving or passing along information to our app about the page you were previously on. I’d recommend either adjusting the browser’s privacy settings or trying a different browser. Unfortunately, browser behavior on the user’s end is not something we can directly control.
