One step forwards, 3 steps back again, sigh.
- My Downloads - used to be front and center, how you either have to go through multiple clicks (Profile -> My Downloads), or scroll down the page. Not the biggest annoyance, but it's still went from one click to multiple + scroll
- My Updates - Also used to be a one click, now you have to go to My Downloads -> Updates. The sorting also defaults to Recently Downloaded instead of Recently Updated. The sorting also doesn't save, so you have to always select Recently Updated
- Liveries - no way to type in aircraft filter anymore, so if you want to find liveries for a PMDG you need to scroll, and scroll, and scroll. Search bar doesn't always work correctly
- World Explorer is much more difficult to find, and it's only under the Scenery menu, but not Airports for some reason
- The entire frontpage is taken up by a giant banner that reads "The #1 Source for Flight Simulator Addons". Cool, but to me it seems like a giant waste of space?
I totally agree with that. Yes, we need this site but we should stop using it to show them, that we make the site to what it is. It's like with every other big company. The management decide to do something no matter what the customers think about it. Without users this site is nothing. They should hear on us, the customers and users. But there are other options in the www. I can't adress them here, but watch out for them. They are small, but they'll hear on community feedback and will grow with it.

My Downloads was already under Profile in the previous version, so this isn't actually a change from the redesign. There is also a one-click option on the landing page as before. For instant access you can always bookmark the page - the previous version was no different.

The default sorting has been updated to Recently Updated, hope this helps. We'll consider adding a direct link to the My Updates section on the landing page with the next update.

A search bar has been added to the aircraft filter to avoid the scrolling. Give it a try and let us know if you run into any issues with it.

That's a deliberate design choice on our end - noted though, thanks.
A general note on most of the feedback we've been seeing - a new design means things look and feel different, and yes, some things are in different places. That's kind of the point. Design updates do naturally take a little getting used to. Nothing of those features have been removed or broken, it just takes a little time for your brain to adjust to the new layout. Bear with it, and it'll quickly become second nature.
