    Description

    NEW VERSION - Please read install instructions very carefully! Beta build users do not need to update to v2, no changes to that version.

    This is a fix for the pressurization problem on the default Pilatus PC-12. This works for career mode and free flight, and allows the plane to operate at FL180 and above without the hypoxia warning. I've tested by flying at FL290+ for over an hour in Career mode and never received the warning or failed the mission.

    Huge shoutout to Seb851 on the MSFS forums for finding this workaround!

    Install for Beta Build users:

    • Download file
    • Extract/unzip
    • Open the pc12-pressurization-fix folder
    • Find the folder called pc12-press-fix-beta and drag into your community folder

    Install for Public Build users:

    • Download file
    • Extract/unzip
    • Open the pc12-pressurization-fix folder
    • Find the folder called pc12-press-fix-public and drag into your community folder
    • NOTE this does not fix the pressurization display or the oxygen gauge, but the pressurization system will work properly in the background

    Once Carenado/Asobo release a proper fix for this, please remove this add-on, this is just a stop-gap measure.

    Thank you! I downloaded v2.5 and it has fixed the problem with the X's for Landing Gear Indicator and Flaps Indicator. I haven't tried flying above 18,000' MSL yet but so far, I really like the improvement to the PC-12 avionics functioning! I still get the GND PROX alert on the PFD remaining after takeoff and even in cruise (apparently it's a known bug in MFSF 2024), but cycling the Inhibit Terrain function after climbing toward cruise is a workaround to get rid of that.

    3rd try changiing file names and reading all the comments... lets see if it works... just past fl200 and seeing cabin pressure warning on the middle bottom screen of the ngx... please fn work...

    Hmm. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I get the message "FMS: Reset alt sel?" in the upper MHD as soon as I set an altitude >20,000 ft with the "ALT" button. If I ignore the message, the AP loses all further waypoints at an altitude >10,000 ft(?).

    Was fine, with the alarm for cabin pressure, but fly FL290, until wednesday and now don´t show the alarm, but hypoxy over the FL 180.doesnt´t work any more.

    Ye the pressure part work but I'm getting oxygen warning again in missions after the update, I'm using the Su2beta version of the mod now.

    Hehe, I'm finding your posts on the dev forum from when you probably worked on this fix mod. I'm testing the plane with your mod watching the simvars and everything looks ok, I'm flying in free flight at FL310 maxing out the system and it works. I climbed slow so it could keep up. The whole issue might have been user error and I was climbing too fast in the career mission. I will try another one.

    Edit: tried again in career, went up to FL290 and got an oxygen warning after about 15min at that level :( had to come down. Looks like career is different from free fligh ?!
