London City Airport (IATA: LCY, ICAO: EGLC) is a regional airport in London, England. It is located in the Royal Docks in the London Borough of Newham, approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east of the City of London and 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Canary Wharf. These are the twin centres of London's financial industry, which is a major user of the airport. The airport was developed by the engineering company Mowlem in 1986–87. In 2016 it was bought by a Canadian-led consortium of Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), OMERS, the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and Wren House Infrastructure Management of the Kuwait Investment Authority.[5]
London City Airport has a single 1,508-metre (4,948 ft) long runway, and a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence (Number P728) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flight training (but only for training necessary for the operation of aircraft at the airport).Only multi-engine, fixed-wing aircraft up to Airbus A318 size with special aircraft and aircrew certification to fly 5.5° approaches are allowed to conduct operations at London City Airport

I do have one request if you revisit this project in the future. I fly corporate jets, including Netjets. And the Netjets "terminal" at the GA apron is now filled with cars and buses, while in real life you will find some expensive private jets there 😊 It would be amazing if you cleared that area and even add a Netjet sign on the building there, just like in real life 😊

Are you aware that there a few "wayward" Runway/Taxiway edge lights in your version.
2 opposite stand 5, and another at the threshold of runway 27, on the southern edge. Fairly sure these are not created by me or any other package, but would welcome your input. Best regards, Martin.

Hi, just downloaded your EGLC, great scenery, but I have the most extreme slopes between taxiway and runway on the South East side. I do not have any other scenery for EGLC, is it something I am doing ??

FOUND THE PROBLEM !!!
EGLC from ORBX was installed in the "Official" folder. Once removed all works well.

Hello and thank you for doing this, I've just deleted the orbx one for this for obvious reasons, but the one major problem I'm having is the massive slopes going from the taxiway to the runway. Am I missing something?

Hi. Thanks for the update. The airport and visuals look fantastic. As others have mentioned though, The PAPI's do not show in this version (they were present in ver. 1.2).
Is there any chance of a version without the static aircraft? As others have mentioned, having statics parked can conflict with AIG / Vatsim.
One final request, is there any chance of a version without the Thames barrier, as there is already an excellent version of this available from here and they don't play nicely together.

Visuals are great! It's a shame the PAPI lights are nonexistent. I also would appreciate the option to remove static aircraft models in favour of AIG AI Traffic.

hello mate, its good to see an update to this ive been using it since first version... the static aircraft are a problem for vatsim users though as it means gates that maybe assigned by atc are unavailable, the aiport is pretty small as it is also after spending many hours doing livery matching its a pain to see those default asobo liveries back in my sim 😞.
The papis are none responsive i cant remember if that happened on the older versions but theres also a tree on short final to rwy 27 that will cause issues.

Thanks for the work on this addon. Unfortunately it does not match up with the ORBX EGLC seems to be some height issues on the new apron. Is there any chance of a tweaked version to be compactable with ORBX as some developers have done with various sceneries.

Hi, this works great for LCY, however, I just tried to land at LHR and there were trees all over the runway and all the taxiways. I've removed the mod and they're no longer there. I use the iniScene LHR if that helps. Thanks

I have just checked your issue with trees, and it doesn't happen to me, EGLC and EGLL are OK on my side
there might be some kind of conflict with another scenery you have
maybe try to remove the 'iniscene LHR' or any other british scenery around LHR

Thanks for correcting the Tug issue at gate 4. It is wonderful and enjoyable. Could you please look at the tug issue with CJ4 at gate 3 and 4. The tug sinks into the concrete and moves forward and backward. Does not connect to the aircraft. Thanks again for correcting the previous issue.

THANKS A LOT!!! It is good to have an almost fully up to date - Apt! It replaces the ORBX-scenery. - BUT it would be great to have also the new Digital TWR and the characteristic Docks Library Building north of threshold 27... Many enthusiasts would be happy, if EGLC would be really complete!

I wrote about 6 months ago about the Aircraft tug appearing vertical at gate 4 from the cockpit of the Airbus but received no explanation. Additionally the issue with a forklift needed to be resolved.
