    Description

    London City Airport is by area the smallest airport in London.
    It is located in the Royal Docks and known for its unusual steep approach.

    Installation:

    unzip theredfox-EGLC.zip and place the files in your community folder.

    The Zip file contains three files:
    1. theredfox-airport-eglc-london - the main file with the airport and ground textures
    2. theredfox-eglc-staticaircraft - the file with static aircrafts (FSLTL needed)
    3. theredfox-eglc-waterfix - a temporary fix that restores the water around the airport (Sim Update 16 bug)


    Due to the special orientation of the parking areas AI aircraft won't spawn on the parking positions 3-10, 21-24. In order to still have AI flight traffic, the parking positions 25-28 are not as in real life but perpendicular to the taxiway

    Static Aircraft (FSLTL needed)

    the second file
    allows you to add static aircraft. The parking spots that are then occupied are
    displayed in the Simulator by an X behind the gate number.

    Perfect and beautiful scenery, even for curiosity in the msfs2024 walkaround mode i went in the terminal and its detailed inside, like even shops.

    Nice airport. What has happened to the railway line /station? A stationary train on stilts is visible landside, but no tracks in front of it.

    No 2024 version? I'm surprised people are still developing for '2020 only'. Sure, 2024 was an utter mess on release. But now (Aug 2025) it is super stable for me and performance is staggeringly improved over 2020. With the default London City I'd get 32 FPS in the JF 146. At the same location, with higher settings and the updated 2024 JF Avro, I get 75 FPS! Why are people hanging on to the old sim? It's like when FSX had been out a year and some people were still developing for FS2004 only!

    If you mean the file “theredfox-airport-eglc-london”, then yes, you can copy this file alone into the community folder. The file “theredfox-eglc-staticaircraft” is only there to have additional static aircraft in the scenery.

    I absolutely love the way everything looks, from the ground textures to the buildings, I certainly look forward to any future products you may have in store, whether they're freeware or payware:)
