    Description

    Upon release of the highly anticipated PMDG 777, I had also received my WinWing FCU just days before. I did not expect it to work with a Boeing of course, but I figured out how to make my own configuration using Mobiflight, with the help of some people in the discord server. I have binded every button and push-pull motion, with some changes to accomodate the MCP. I have not extensively tested it in and out, but I feel as though it should work as planned. If there are any bugs or issues please let me know in the comments. 

    Note: Negative V-Speeds will not be seen currently. This is due to the community not having the dataref for it yet, like we do with the 737. So for now, nothing can be done about it until PMDG is able to give us the appropriate offset code. Also, to clear up some confusion, a paid FSUIPC version is not required for this to function, I would suggest having the free one open in the background though, but no issues for me so far without the paid version.

    Installation:

    1. Download MobiFlight Connector (must be the latest version) : https://www.mobiflight.com/en/download.html

    2. Simply download the zip file here, then in the MobiFlight Connector open the .mcc file. 

    3. You will see a message pop-up, which is where you firstly click on the WINWING FCU at the top then select the WINWING FCU again in the dropdown box under it, then click Assign and Ok. (see gif on post)

    4. Click save in the top left, and press Run before you load into the aicraft.

    Key Features:

    • SimAppPro not necessary to run BUT ensure you update the Firmware of the FCU first.
    • Backlights and LCD/LED's will be off until power is introduced to the aircraft.
    • Replace clicking the screw for TO/GA or GA, and just press the SPD/MACH button on the FCU.
    • HDG TRK / VS FPA button toggles both FDs. 
    • METRIC ALT = MTRS
    • HDG Push = LNAV / HDG Pull = HDG Sel
    • VS Pull = VS SEL / VS Push = Altitude HOLD
    • ALT Push = Push ALT Knob / ALT Pull = FLCH
    • SPD Push = VNAV / SPD Pull = Push SPD Knob
    • A/THR = Arm both A/T
    • AP1 = Engage A/P (both AP lights will turn on)

    Unfortunately the profile has several flaws... V/S display not correctly set up, Speed/Mach not showing correctly, some outputs have FSUIPC bindings instead of using SimConnect (why?) etc.
    "as is" it is unfortunately not usable, I had to adjust quite a few things.
    I first thought that it might be an issue with the 77F since it's not made for it, but the setup will not work for the 77W in the mentioned items either because it also contains 737 simvars (for V/S for instance) which are also incorrect for the 77W.
    Would be great to have these things fixed to make it usable.

    Any update about this profile? Im trying to fix IAS, Mach and managed mode to show correct indicators in FCU but Im very rookie for this, only fix V/S

    THIS IS AMAZING! Just bought the Winwings FCU and LOVE it in the Airbus! NOW that I can also utilize it in a BOEING aircraft just DOUBLES the value. Thank you SO MUCH to all you guys who are so smart and can make this software! Will be featuring it on my livestream on YouTube! @CapnJackFltsim

    hello ,everything works on winwing fcu except the vs display, which remains at 0 whereas it varies on the pmdg 777-300 screen. Could someone help me?

    Just a quick question: My speed/hdg values go up /down by 2 instead of 1 per turn of the knob.
    Am I doing something wrong or is there a way I can fix it myself?

    i had this issue and realized there was a conflict with SPAD.next because I still has a script loaded. Not sure if you use SPAD or not but make sure there aren't any scripts loaded for the FCU

    Fixed Negative V/S display, it WILL work with the FSUIPC7 (7.4.14a+) copy running and connected to the simulator. Does NOT have to be the paid version, I myself am using the free version with no issues so far, negative and positive VS displays fine. Download the beta version here: https://www.fsuipc.com/download/Install_FSUIPC7.4.14a.zip Also fixed the mach display. When the speed is not dashed, and the mach is actually showing in the aircraft, whether you toggle it yourself or it automatically changes, you will see the mach number on the FCU. Please note the FCU only supports 2 decimal points, whilst the 777 displays 3. So there may be some confusion on mach number e.g. on the FCU it would show as 0.59 but in-sim it may be 0.598 or so. Nothing major, but just note that there is nothing much that can be done about that. Also added the fuel control switches for those with the TCA throttle quadrant, disabled by default, but you may enable them if you wish in the input menu, right at the bottom.
