Description
Welcome to Springfield-Branson National Airport!
Nestled just 8 miles from downtown Springfield, Missouri, Springfield-Branson National Airport serves as a vibrant gateway to Southwest Missouri and the breathtaking Ozark Mountains. Offering non-stop service from reputable carriers like American Eagle, Delta Connection, and United Express, as well as the convenience of Allegiant Air's continuous and seasonal flights, SGF connects travelers to a myriad of destinations.
For the very first time, SGF has been meticulously recreated in a flight simulation, boasting an array of authentic airport buildings that mirror its real-world counterpart. This ambitious project marks my inaugural venture into scenery creation, requiring over 150 hours of dedicated work. From crafting every detail of the airport grounds to navigating the intricacies of Blender and MSFS, this endeavor has been both a labor of love and a learning experience.
Shoutout to MyPhysicalWorld because without his tutorials this airport would not of been possible.
This airport includes:- True-to-life buildings including the main airline terminal, control tower, the Envoy maintaince hanger, cargo apron, military apron, the old SGF airline terminal (Expedia Group office space) and the various General Aviation hangers.
- Fully customized aprons, ground markings, taxiway signs, and wig-wags.
- GSX profile for the Airline Terminal & Cargo Apron.
Work In Progress:
