Description
EDMB - Biberach an der Riss Airport Scenery
This scenery enhances the default regional airport of Biberach an der Riss.
Important Note: The scenery only uses standard MSFS assets and no custom models so do not expect a proper replication of the actual airport. Recently updated it to work with latest MSFS version and free updates (Jan. 2026)
Improvements:
- Removed large pond right next to the runway which is not existent and terraformed the ditch including a small creek
- Removed beacon tower and wrongly placed windsock
- Removed immersion breaking ground services such as push back, fuel truck etc. (In case you want them back just delete the folder AirportServices in the mod)
- Replaced default buildings with actual hangars on both sides of the runway
- Added control tower
- Added fence between parking and runway
- Covered some very bad texture spots
- Added fuel pump station (not working) and windsock
- Added gliders, trailers and airplanes for more immersion
Known Limitations:
- The fuel station right next to the large hangar on the tarmac is still existing (would require to remodel the runway and taxiway in order to remove it)
- All objects are based on default assets and the restaurant building has not been changed.
- Some buildings are a little bit offset below the ground since I did not flatten the entire airport area.
