    ENAL, Ålesund Vigra is an airport located in Norway on the westcoast of Sunnmøre. The airport is on an island, Vigra, with strong winds blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean. The runway has a distinct runway profile. The airport has domestic flights as well as direct International flights to Alicante - Spain, Copehagen - Denmark, Kaunas - Lithania, Amsterdam - Netherlands and Gdansk - Poland.

    The scenery has some custom made simple models. All the runway lights, taxiways markings etc. has been modeled as per. AIP.

    The models are even more detailed than the payware, but again, I need to complain about how many of the doors seem disproportionately tall -- twice as tall as my avatar -- especially at the eastern end of the terminal, facing the apron.

    Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the runway actually have that profile in real life. That was basically the reason that I started to create this airport. To face the challenge of making a runway profile like that. (and that it annoyed me that the payware from ORBX didn't have the correct runway lighting...)

    Hi, thank you for the work you do. I have a problem with incoming ai planes (FSLT), they stop on the taxiway instead of getting in to the gates. Dash or 737/airbus. Does this have something to do with the "terrain issues on the taxiways"? Someone told my "taxi issue" would have something to do with broken nodes in the scenery addon? I now use MSFS2024.

    I tried to do some testing, and for T/O RWY24 everything was OK. However, when landing on RWY24 the taxi path is a little bit weird. I don't think it is due to the terrain, but more likely a taxiway path issue. I need to investigate further.

    Extract the zip file and move the output folder to your "Community" folder for the sim. (note this folder is different depending on if the sim is installed via Microsoft Store or Steam)

    Hello, amazing scenery again! I love that your textures are really good, many freewares I see don't have any textures/material and the whole airport looks like it's made from LEGO!!! But I have a question, flying around in freecam I noticed some floating lights in the parking lot behind the main terminal. Is this intended or am I missing a library?

    Thanks for the feedback. I suspect that the floating lights are default street lights from Asobo. I guess I haven't removed them properly. I'll make an updated version with custom made street lights instead.

    Thank you so much for the very quick response. Incredible scenery you can give us for FREE. You are a legend. However, I must mention I believe the same floating lights are also present at Tromso Airport, so I don't know if you have the time but if you could also fix those I would really appreciate it

    v1.30 now has the floating lights removed. (and replaced with street lights objects instead.)

    This is the best rendition of ENAL currently out there. It is accurate and up to date, with good attention to detail.
