    New GSX profile created with good help from Saurer01. (Thanks for the help mate...)

    Updated to the latest AIRAC 22-JAN-2026

    Now you can download the GSX profile as an option.

    **** Version 2.0.1 is now compatible with  MSFS2024!****

    This is my creation of the airport of ENTC Tromsø Langnes situated in northern Norway. 

    The city of Tromsø is often referred to the "Paris of the North" and is located over 400 km north of the Arctic Circle.

    På This scenery uses custom designed 3D models for most of the buildings on the airport using custom made PBR materials.

    Runway lights should be as per AIP.

    Installation:

    Unzip the main file to your Community folder.

    For the GSX file, unzip the ini file and the two .py files to your GSX ini file location

    Please remove older versions of the scenery if you have downloaded an updated version.

     

    Recommended add-ons to be used with this scenery:   (not needed but adds some more features to the scenery)

    GSX: https://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsxpro.html  Payware addon that is highly recommended for this scenery. The docking systems seen in the screenshots from this scenery is from GSX.

     

    Roadmap:

    - Add hospital at Tromsø

    A lot of work has been put into this scenery, so any donations will be highly appreciated.

    I have never been to this airport IRL but your scenery makes me want to go. I flew in to this airport tonight on-stream for the first time and it is one of the best freeware airports available. Very well done

    Did you download the v1.8 GSX profile? It is not "included" in the main file.

    No I didnt download it as the changelog said the updated profile is included in the 2.1.3 and the profile is dated feb 7th so I obviously thought the profile would be in the 2.1.3 version. In this case I already had the updated profile since feb 7..

    I downloaded the scenery, and it looks great.
    There are some speed bumps on the taxiways, though, and this is the case at other airports as well.
    Did I do something wrong during installation?

    Hi! You did probably nothing wrong during the installation. Is this for MSFS2020 or MSFS2024? Where are these speed bumps? What taxiway? I don't have this issue. Is it with every aircraft? Big and small? Are you using some apps like Chase View or something else that has movement inside the cockpit?

    It's on taxiway Y.
    There's also a raised section near the gates.
    I see this at other airports as well.
    I took some screenshots, but I can't attach them here.

    I can't find any big bumps on TWY Y nor on the apron. I have even set my Terrain LOD at different values and haven't found anything wrong. It would be nice to have a screenshot of the problem.

    Just a small heads up for the updated GSX profile:
    -it's now made of 3 files, drop all of them into your GSX profile folder

    What the new handler file does:
    -applying the correct ground handling company depending on user airline flown
    -adding stairs on gates with jetways for easyJet, SAS and Norwegian as they use stairs and jetways simultaneously
    -VDGS systems now only show the gate number after parking guidance (this is not a bug, it's how they act IRL)
    -boosted vehicle scores to get more accurate vehicle models

    Why can't I push north on Y from Gate 22 in this profile anymore? I haven't tried the other gates yet. The old profile was better there. How about...

    @PlantsAreDead they do straight pushbacks IRL. If you can find any docummentation that says otherwise I'd be happy to add this but to my knowledge they only do straight pushbacks.

    Thank you very much. I also asked Capt A320 again; he streams and is a real A320 pilot and instructor.
