    Description

    This is a modification to the MSFS 2020 default Asobo Pipistrel SW121 aircraft.  This mod is primarily aimed at improving the overall flight dynamics of this aircraft, providing a more realistic flying experience that is much closer to the actual aircraft.  Several changes have been made to the flight model and the aircraft weight and balance, which are all detailed in the Change Log file included under the Documentation folder, along with a PDF copy of the aircraft POH.  The outstanding visibility provided by the extra large side windows on this aircraft make it ideal for enjoying the amazing scenery in MSFS.


    This mod is easily installed by simply unzipping the download file and copying the mge-asobo-aircraft-pipistrel folder to the MSFS Community folder.  It will then replace the existing default Pipistrel SW121 aircraft in the MSFS aircraft selection screen, and will also continue to utilize all existing aircraft Liveries.  To uninstall the mod and return to using the MSFS default aircraft, simply remove it from the Community folder.  This aircraft and this mod are only for the MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition.

    Is this compatible with the MSFS2024 or are there any plans to make a compatible version?

    It has not been tested with 2024, but you can try it to see if it will work. I currently have no plans for upgrading it because I don't have MSFS 2024 yet.

    Great mod for a very underrated plane. It is really fun to fly and feels very good with this mod. What a shame Asobo will not update the Garmin G3X for this aircraft. It really needs an avionics update.
    The only issue I have is the autopilot. It does not capture HDG and ALT very well. It always overshoots a bit and then turns back on course. Maybe this can be fixed in this mod, I don't know.

    great and quick update. The Autopilot is now much better :-) Do you fly this plane in real life? The performance is very close to the real one.

    i love this mod, but is there anything that can be done about the camera position? the instrument panel takes too much of the screen its hard to see the runway, and i cant get a better view, the camera doesnt want to go any higher than the default position.

    The default Pilot viewpoint was raised in the last update (1.2.0) to improve runway visibility. Make sure you have that version installed by looking in CONTENT MANAGER.

    BTW... a question... where is located the Alternator ON/OFF switch in the Virus panel?

    Hi.. is there a way to confirm that the mod is installed and working? i followed the instructions but i cant tell if there's any change... the flight model still feels the same (weird) and it still feels overpowered and the cockpit position seems to be the same. I think its not working for me... thanks

    To verify that the mod is installed, open CONTENT MANAGER then search for SW121. You should then see an entry at the bottom of the list for VIRUS SW121 by MG_Enterprises, and it should show INSTALLED in COMMUNITY with a version number of 1.2.0. You can also verify that it is installed and working by opening the MSFS Weight and Balance Screen to see if it shows a new BAGGAGE station load. If the mod is installed and you still don't see any change in the default cockpit viewpoint, try pressing [SHIFT] + [F10] to reset the VFR viewpoint, just in case you previously saved a custom VFR viewpoint.

    The 3-D model texture, and any other 3-D model or livery issues, can only be fixed by Asobo. This mod only changes the flight model and engine performance, with some minor adjustments to the camera view positions.
