    Description

    Hey y'all, Papierfranz here,

    Bonn looks a little bit “samey”, so I started creating some basic sceneries.
    Telekom Dome
    Posttower + United Nations + World Conference Center
    Sportpark Nord
    Uniklinikum/Venusberg Campus (added in v0.4)
    Burgruine Drachenfels (added in v0.5)
    Schloss Drachenburg (added in v0.5)
    Steigenberger Grand Hotel Petersberg (added in v0.5)
    Bonn Zentrum (added in v0.6)
    Bonn Beuel (added in v0.6)

    Right now the buildings sadly don't support Night-Mode or LODs (as I just started learning about the tools). Big shout out to Flying Theston on YouTube for his guide how to implement buildings from Maps.

    Installation:
    How to install if you have not installed a previous version:
    1. Just insert the folders into your community folder.

    How to install if you have a previous version installed:
    1. Please delete the following folder in your community folder
    - bonn_stadthaus
    2. Insert and override the new downloaded folders into your community folder.

    Troubleshoot:
    If the scenery is not showing in your game try opening your "content.xml" and add this line of code:


    Your Content.xml file should be here (at least mine is): C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator

    the south bridge and the north bridge still need to be modelled. Could you do this? Please let me know if you need any finacial support

    As already mentioned by MAXFLYING7 you need adjust the colors to better fit with the default scenery.
    Also please put all landmarks together in one folder.
    All in all good work, thank you!

    Hey there, thanks a lot! I will start paying more attention to the color grading! Right now I will keep the folders separated though to be more stable for everyone. I will add larger areas from now on though and not just single buildings.

    Nice that someone considered my hometown in the sim, thanks! For future updates I`d like to see the Godesburg and obviously the Uni Gebäude, and I think that you`ll do some color grading in the future to fit the surrounding area; Besides that, I´m a student pilot in EDKB, is it possible for you to bring the airfield into the sim? Let me know if you need help! :)

    Hi there, thanks for info, I now changed my way of adding new content to this pack and will be looking to take more attention to exact color grading (sadly it isn't always the "one grading fits it all" ;) )

    I have never added an airport before, maybe I will take a look at it in the next weeks :)
