EGNO Warton custom built
After several requests, here is an effort at BAE Systems base at Warton. As it's a secure site, there's not very much info to go on, so I've done what I can with the main buildings using (a lot of) artistic license. I've kept most of the OK default buildings but got rid of the ginormous tower!
Models include :
Main hangars
Tower
Fire station
Some of the office buildings
Radome and masts
The static EE lightning
Static BAE King Airs
I've not touched the default aprons, taxiways, etc as they are liveable with. Just added a few more markings, etc.
Not sure there's much else I can do with the limited info, but it's certainly much better than the default.
As ever, any suggestions and ideas welcome

I've finally got round to looking at Warton again. Some new buildings added :
Low building by main apron
Lots of buildings on the south of the airfield
Added the large radome as requested by freddielaker2
Added a few statics - original models from 3D Warehouse
I may return again to replace more of the default buildings but references are few and far between and many are liveable with

When I jump to FS2024 I'll have to re-look at all my mods so will tweak Warton as suggested.

You've done well. I was the project manager for the refurbishment of three of five main hangars shown. As viewed they were numbered 5 to 1. I also looked after the construction etc. of the building with the curved roof. It housed the Eurofighter Team in the late 90's onwards. The large hangar in the background of the Lightning static should have concertina doors as the other hangars. In the 80's to 90's lots of Tornados were assembled there, and later Typhoons.

Interesting stuff.
I've been doing some work on my Lancs and Cumbria scenery around Preston so Warton has been a good take off/landing airport for checking it all works.

I got out my crappy joystick and gave it a go ... and I love this place, better than the asobo one and that gigantic atc has gone.

Thanks for this, that tower in the default was driving me nuts. My flight yoke just went pop on me but I'm looking forward to getting in here and having a good shufty. Thanks again
