Enhance your virtual airport experience with this add-on for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (KDFW) in Dallas, Texas. This mod improves the scenery by adding ramp lighting, fencing, fixing flooded roads, and flattening out uneven pavement areas, providing a more realistic and immersive flying experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Strange thing, I downloaded this earlier and installed. The scenery seemed off.. like seriously low resolution ground textures.. runway 17 was barely visible and only partially lit. I took off and crashed near at rotation speed in A320 Neo.. like it hit an invisible object on the runway. Going to remove this mod and see if any difference. Edit: Sorry to report but yes seems this scenery was the cause of the problems evident. I unlinked everything from the community folder and just allowed this and problems reappeared. Likely this is not compatible with SU12.

Is this still relevant after SU12?

Good Airport but very hard stutters and low FPS

That's not from the changes I made. I only added lighting around the main terminal and some fencing, which has no impact on performance. Any performance issues you're seeing are from the MS/Gaya airport.

Been a little while, but would it be possible to get the ground level of AA Hanger 5 between 35C and 35R cleaned up? Pretty steep drop off of taxiway P into the aircraft parking for that facility. Thanks for the updates!

I just went and checked and I actually terraformed the entire field to be flat. So nothing more I can do to fix that sunken area. I've run across this issue on numerous other airports where no matter what I do in DEV mode, the terraforming polygon is ignored by the sim.
I added a picture in the user gallery. You can see I have the polygon highlighted showing it's a terraform polygon surrounding that entire area, yet the sunken maintenance facility is still present.

Thanks a lot for these updates. Dallas being my home, I fly to/from a lot. Can you do something about the traffic through the airport that fly's over the overpasses?

Really nice looking modifications. Can you also take a look at Taxyiway Z between the east and west sides of the airport? When your plane crosses the bridge over the road that bisects the airport, the simulator registers that as a crash, if you have crash detection on. It's as though there's an invisible wall or obstruction on that Taxiway bridge. Thanks!

Does this take into account the latest changes in the new World Update 10? They added part of the newer taxi loop on the north end, but rendered it closed!!! Useless. There are a lot of fixes that can be affected at DFW, and I appreciate you taking a jab at 'em!

This is fantastic. Many Thanks. Hopefully you can add airline gate assignments in the future. KDFW has been neglected in MSFS so this is a welcome add. Cheers.
