Description
The PMDG 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
A remarkably great aircraft addon - but one which requires the use of a good checklist for normal operations! The PMDG 737NG Series for Microsoft Flight Simulator has quickly become a favourite amongst thousands of sim pilots with it's incredible levels of immersion covering four different variants from the small -600 through to the stretched -900ER with Auxiliary Tanks
It's busier cockpit environment, coupled with the wonderful soundscape and more Hands-On style of flying make this such an incredibly enjoyable product and for that, I wanted to help you enjoy it as much as possible!
Firstly, I created a number of basic tutorials for those of you starting at 0hrs, looking to get confident as quickly as possibly in the aircraft without too much difficulty - they've been widely enjoyed and I've had some fantastic feedback on those, so thank you! They take a lot of work so it's wonderful to hear that they have been useful to so many of you! Check them out HERE
Secondly, I've created this checklist which was also released on launch day. Since then, I've spent many hours thinking of revising the flow, improving the layout in subtle ways and have taken out some of the almost-duplicated steps.
This is now version 3.0 and encompasses checks for the whole PMDG 737NG for MSFS line up
- PMDG 737-600
- PMDG 737-700
- PMDG 737-800
- PMDG 737-900/ER
These are steps I've been doing over the months in live streams and is something that should ideally be in the checklist - so now they are!

Want a Simbrief Profile too? I've made one here with a few tweaks

... on your end. I just downloaded the file here again to test and it is working fine so I'd suggest re-downloading it and using 7Zip or something to extract

Why don't you have the switches like ENG 1 & ENG 2, ELEC 1 & ELEC 2? and if you have it can you say where
almost 4 years ago
Hi, thanks for the 5 Stars, appreciate it a lot!
I do have ENG 1 / 2 and also ELEC Hyd Pumps on the checklist... Firstly it shows Elec Hydraulic Pumps ON on the first page in pre-flight and ENG1 and 2 are in the start checks
almost 4 years ago
Yes but the hydraulic pumps of ENG 1 & ENG 2 are not in the list or maybe they are; maybe I'm blind xd but what you mentioned are the engines and not the hydraulic pumps of the engines

ive searched everywhere but cant find an answer so i will ask here im considering the 737 600 but what i want to know is does it use the interactive checklist within the sim at all? and can you set it to complete tasks automatically? like you can with just flights 146 i dont always have time to do a full start up
almost 4 years ago
Hi, no it doesn't - but you can select "Ready for Taxi" as a state in the FMC to set it all up for you (with the exception of the flight plan, loads etc)
thanks for replying , i know you may call me picky but just using ready to taxi states is not my thing i like to start from cold and dark but sometime si don't want to have to do every single switch i kinda find it a bit odd though that asobo give us this interactive checklist which is a good way of learning where the switches are yet pmdg don't use it. . it seems like me and pmdg are on different pages so i will give them a miss from now on
