    Description

    Hi, this is my realistic texture pack add-on for the default Asobo/Working Title Boeing 747-8. My original goal was to adjust the hue/saturation, lightness, and vibrance of the brown in the cockpit to match 747-8 IRL, or at least what I see in photos/videos. But now I have reworked almost all of the cockpit's features.

    Install: Just extract the "t-B747-8i_realistic_cockpit_textures" folder into your Community folder.

    Also if you have the Salty Simulations 747, this texture pack is already included.

    I'm getting pink textures in external view at lowest LOD. Seems to work fine at higher LODs, just not the lowest.

    I'm using this livery in case that is relevant -

    I tried copying the files directly into the TEXTURE folder of the Asobo 747-8i but it doesn't change a thing. I can't make it work. Any suggestions?

    Love this alot! Now looks like I'm flying a PMDG 747 in the sim now because of this. Changes everything than a disgusting default quality.

    Awesome mod, makes the 747 so much better, thank you.

    One request is if you can fix the ugly texture on the frame of the rearmost cockpit window, always sticks out like a sore thumb.

    It appears like the Salty guys have now integrated this into their official release, correct? If we update Salty, does this mean we no longer need to load this separately?

    • Reworked most of the buttons/switches/knobs • Reworked the throttle/speed brake/flap lever • Reworked the yoke • Changed the color of the EFB to brown, to match the Lithuania 747-8i EFB • Increased the gloss of the headrest and gave it a brown tint • Changed the floor's color to purple • Cleaned and reduced the gloss on the brown/white parts of the cockpit • Bunch of minor improvements/fixes (see pics)
