    Description

    * NOTES FOR FS2024: The terminal building is "borrowed" from the FS2020 stock Paro Airport. Please also download my Paro Airport addon to make it rendered properly in case you are flying in FS2024, although I think you must have downloaded it already if you like flying in Bhutan *

    * Check here if you experience the very common "double runway" issue if you have subscribed 3rd party global navdata from vendors like Navigraph *

    There are already 3 built-in airports in Bhutan available in the game, while Bathpalathang Airport is missing, so I added the runway using information from Bhutan AIP, and a small "terminal" adapted from one of the buildings in Paro Airport. This airport is built in the river valley of Jakar just like Paro, but it is a little bit easier to approach.

    Thank you for your work. We really appreciate that. Unfortunately, people often forget to provide brief information on how to proceed with updates, i.e. whether you simply install them or whether you have to laboriously find and delete old files. Unfortunately, the problem runs like a common thread here on flightsim.to.
    P.S. In your description for Paro AIrport you recommend deleting old files. How about this airport?

    It should be the best to delete old files before each update. However, the layout.json defines which files inside the addon folder should be loaded so that usually it is not a problem if the old files are not deleted. The main problem is that there may be unnecessary and redundant old files continue to occupy the space in your SSD.

    Hello and thanks for your answer. Saving space on ssd is a very good reason. But some say it is not needed so it brought some general confusion to me.

    There is not exclude for default airport, so your scenery not working properly.

    It seems that you have subscribed Navigraph, as this is not a stock airport. I've added overriding commands with the new version, but there are still some extra steps to override the autogen airport.

    I still have your vqty-yonphula file, which you must have since deleted because someone else created the airport too. I'll keep yours because the other one is 800 MB. Unless you think there will be a problem with yours after the sim updates...?

    Indeed. I keep finding multiple versions of the same airport in my collection. If only there was an easy way to find duplicates other than doing a word search in Explorer.

    I'd highly suggest you get MSFS Addons Linker, much easy to manage addons, enable and disable them and finding duplicates is easy enough by searching for the ICAO or airport name.
