the latest version of RAF Lossiemouth, I have added new aprons, taxiway lines throughout the base, new models, Ground markings applied to taxiways and P8 apron, added new QRA parking mil combat 36&37, fences around the qra hangars.moved the a400, removed the f35,osprey and here to make more space.I will still continue to update the base so look out for future updates, sugestions for aditions are more than welcome, i would like to thank Superspud for his help with the models and file structure.

Great job! I went to RAF Lossiemouth in the '70s as an ATC cadet, and this brings back some great memories.

Note: the Typhoon static models aren't showing up. Were they somehow reliant on the Coningsby Airport download? If so, that airport no longer exists at the link you provided. Are they maybe dependent on the user having purchased one of the Typhoon aircraft for MSFS? If so, that may be the problem, as I don't own any military aircraft.

I do have a suggestion: would it be possible to have this airport not so reliant on other people's libraries? I often find they get changed without anyone knowing, and the associated 3D models disappear or get a wild color scheme due to the livery being missing or corrupted. Having all the necessary 3D models within the mod gives the developer so much more control of the quality, and it gives users a far more reliable experience with the mod.

I tend not to use mods that rely on third party libraries, so I don't have most of the 3rd party libraries that you list when I use this airport, and that means I don't get to see a lot of the "life" that should be going on around the airport. I realize that's my choice, but I'd rather have an airport that works "out of the box", rather than one with potentially corrupted or altered 3rd party libraries. Not that yours has this issue - I have no idea - but I've been burned so many times with other sceneries.

You have done an excellent job. I used to be based at Lossie in the 70s with 8 Sqn Shackletons. It has changed quite a lot. I flew out of it yesterday and it was perfect. Is there a chance of moving the static Hercs and Tanker aircraft backwards a few yards because as I Taxied past them, the wing tip of my Airbus was clipping the parked aircraft. If it cannot be done, no big deal as the base is perfect. Thanks.

Hi Nick, I found your Mod yesterday and had a fly around last night. Loved it, thank you.

I live in Lossie and am ex military and fly out of Lossie in the Tri Service flying club so was well chuffed to see two Cessna 172's in situ too.

First off, I really appreciate this mod and your RAF Marham, both were sorely needed and I was flying out of both over the weekend.

Lossiemouth was busy on the occasions that I was there and that is good to see.

For me the big thing that I would like to see addressed in the grass texture, is there an issue using the default ground textures and overlaying with your tarmac etc?

Other than that, keep up the good work and thank you again.

Hi Ian, the static typhoons were dependent on the Coningsby scenery, so if you don't have that they just wont show up, as for the other addons, the people are not needed, but i do use them in every pack i make as there already made and work, Taxiway lines mod again not needed but it does improve the lines on every airport in the sim, the skins for the flying club Cessna's were made for the actual flying club so again if you don't want to add them you wont see the two statics that's all. the uk2000 common file is free on the market place.

the reason why i use add on packs is because 3d models are expensive and adding loads in just for a freeware pack is just not possible, as us as developer's of these packs don't really get the money back on things we have bought, for each pack.

Hi,

There are a lot of other addons listed in the description, are we supposed to download and install them all in the Community folder or are they already embedded in your addon?

the four sets of squadron tails are only for the Cj Simulations Typhoon, the emergency vehicle, people mods and coningsby are only to add the airfield operations vehicle, people and static typhoons, the uk 2000 common libary adds in static vehicles and the wig wag lights, the scenery will still work without but comes alive more with the addons in the community folder
