This livery just reminded me of a movie I have not seen in years. I think it was called BAT-21 and I know for certain the two stars were Danny Glover and Gene Hackman. Anyway, it's a Vietnam era "Behind Enemy Lines" type story made in the mid 1980s. Glover flies a very similar (if not exact model) Cessna and I think his call sign was Bird Dog. Essentially the movie was all about Glover flying around keeping Hackman safe until rescue. Does anybody know this movie? Did I get the title and plane right? Any clue if this was the livery that may have been used?

The star under the left wing pointing the wrong way.

Yeah, I noticed that just after I posted the livery.
I'll fix it when I get some time, in the next couple of days.
thanks

Great work and result! I love the fine details. BAT-21 is one of my favorite movies of all time! Now all that is needed is a pilot likeness of Danny Glover!

Thanks for the great livery! I don't believe the military used spinners. Wondering if Carenado modeled the prop hubs and the spinners could just "disappear".
Thanks again!

Thank you Don! I was really hoping to see an O-2A livery! There are some really awesome liveries from around the world, I'll put a few requests in just in case you or someone else wants to tackle them.

Looks great. I was waiting for someone to post an O-2A version. I'm working on one that matches the "Birddog" from Bat*21, but am having issues.
