    Description

    El Aeródromo del Berriel, (OACI: GCLB) denominado así por el barranco homónimo en su cercanía, es un aeródromo privado español situado en el sur de Gran Canaria, en el municipio de San Bartolomé de Tirajana España. El aeródromo fue inaugurado el 13 de junio de 1970, tiene una pista de aterrizaje de asfalto de 800x20 m.

    En las inmediaciones se exhibe una reliquia de la aviación comercial pionera, el avión Douglas DC-7, primera aeronave en enlazar sin escalas las costas este y oeste de Estados Unidos. Estuvo volando desde 1965 en la desaparecida compañía de vuelos chárter Spantax, fue un avión extraordinario muy seguro y llevó a cientos de miles de pasajeros y carga a toda Europa y África. En 1979, la compañía aérea Spantax donó este aparato al Real Aero Club de Gran Canaria, 

    En la realidad creo que el Aerodromo de El Berriel no esta iluminado pero he puesto las luces para disfrutar de vuelos VFR nocturnos.

    If I know, but it's the only way to be able to land at night in VFR and make it look good from the air, thank you
