Dolpa Airport (IATA: DOP, ICAO: VNDP), also known as Juphal Airport is a domestic airport located in Juphal, Thuli Bheri serving Dolpa District, a district in Karnali Pradesh in Nepal. It is the only airport of the district.

 

The airport was upgraded in 2017, when the gravel runway was turned into a blacktopped runway. The airport resides at an elevation of 8,200 feet (2,499 m) above mean sea level.  It has one runway designated 15/33 measuring 663 by 30 metres (2,175 ft × 98 ft).

Today I flew from VNJS to here, VNDP Dolpa in the Bonanza (!) , real seat of the pants and I barely made it...wow..what a challenge (mind you Im a moderate simmer not a real pilot) but I held my breath passing mountain ranges and flew in following the river gorge... a breathtaking flight it made me sweat and after landing I felt like having a party with all the colorful locals in their great buildings, very immersive all thanks to you ! This is better than payware Sergio, many many thanks ! Outstanding!

I'm having a wee problem that I only noticed a couple of days ago. When this package (or others) are used that link to Dave's 3D People or Dave's Crooked Library the Content Manager and Marketplace won't open. You get the spinning circle on both.

I haven't seen anybody else report this but I am sure I can't be alone on this. Any thoughts?

What I have doen so far:

  1. Clean install of sim (what a pain)
  2. Using Addons Linker adding packages one at a time to find the culprits.
  3. Found 2 packages that exhibit this bug, both using same dependencies.
  4. Drink alcohol. I'm so dissapointed that didn't help.

I reached out to another dev, superspud for EGHE. My feeling is there is something not right in the way the library is referenced.

You are getting 5 stars cause I love your work and need to butter you up a little to take a look at this please.

EDIT: Found the cause. You cannot use ' in a folder name now. (Dave's Library, Ryan's Creek etc). This was never a problem before SU5 so I didn't suspect this. I'm glad it wasn't anything to do with your mod but frustrated with all the changes Asobo make that break things.

Hi please consider renaming the modellib.bgl in the SDK to something unique to the airport, it reduces possible conflicts. maybe vndp-Modellib.bgl

Funny you mention that ' problem, I had that problem long ago when I used it in folder names like Int'l Airport. CTD ! Or wouldnt load....yikes :P I have a few problems now with some airports in...I think New Zealand, not sure but I do have 115Gb of addonds loaded...my poor MSFS 2020 :P
