    Description

    Kadena Air Base (嘉手納飛行場, Kadena Hikōjō) (IATA: DNA, ICAO: RODN) is a United States Air Force base in the towns of Kadena and Chatan and the city of Okinawa, in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It is often referred to as the "Keystone of the Pacific" because of its highly strategic location. It is located 650 km (400 mi) off the coast of China and at a distance of 770 km (480 mi) from Shanghai, a major Chinese economic hub. It is home to the USAF's 18th Wing, the 353rd Special Operations Wing, reconnaissance units, 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment, and a variety of associated units. Over 20,000 American servicemembers, family members, and Japanese employees live or work at Kadena Air Base. It is the largest and most active U.S. Air Force base in East Asia.

    This has many Custom models, there are many more to come, Thank you to DeadJen for making the Passenger terminal.

    There may be some ground level issues still i will get to these in the updates.

    Nice work on the scenery arrangement and the modelling. But there is currently something wrong with the taxiways when using your scenery in the 2024, noticed it when I landed and ATC had no option to guide me to a parking spot. Debug view shows that there's no taxiways anywhere, only the runways and the parking spots without connection to anything.

    Yes I realise that I removed all the default parking spots due to them being GA parking I added military parking spots I will be linking them up soon, so for now you are cleared to go which way you want :)

    I mean there's no taxiways at all, none, while the parking spots still exist. How did this even compile, normally it won't with gaps like that :D

    The SDK gives you an option to delete all taxiways which is the only way to remove all the parking spots, the scenery compiles quite happily, however I have spent the last day adding the links back in so hopefully it will all link to my custom parking spots once I’m finished

    I uploaded an image of the GA parking at RODN for the Aero Club. They currently operate Cessna 172s, though they've had Liberty XL-2s here before as well. The Fuel Pump used to be located centered at the far end of the eastern pad, but it looks like it's been relocated to the southern side of the western pad (circled in blue). Would be cool to have a couple of small GA parking spots here, and maybe a static model or two.

    Another gem! Just in case if in future you might do A-12/SR-71 hangar in more detail (with opened doors like EGUN :) and spare SR-71 in other opened hangar), movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFO--wzFfUs shows inside in quite detail. Outside doors/ front elevation can be seen on web page http://www.wvi.com/~sr71webmaster/kadena2.html. The 4No hangars had the same doors on both sides so they were open across during engine startup/ taxi out.

    Ah thank you for this I will add them in, I need to work out where they are on the map if anyone knows? The second link you sent there is two images one with it parked outside a cream building and one outside a brown building do you happen to know which is the right one? i am assuming its the cream one from the video i looks about right but hard to tell in the dark
