    REQUIREMENTS: NAMC YS-11 Purchased & installed from the Marketplace. (FS2020 and FS2024 versions are available) 

    About the livery:  LATEST VERSIONS!  v2.1 (FS2020) and v2.1a (FS2024)
    YS-11 version of New Zealand's Mt Cook Airlines HS-748 ZK-DES 1975

    Mt Cook Airlines only ever operated the Hawker Siddeley HS-748 but with no '748 available for either sims the YS-11 is currently as close as we can get. There are differences but also many 'similarities' between the 2 different models.
    I have created for you a very detailed livery depicting Mt Cook's mid 70's era, which also includes the cabin interior and of course a matching GPU!
    One of the features of the Mt Cook Airline HS-748 pax seats were the golden NZ sheepskin headrest covers which were sometimes wrongly thought of as take home souvenirs by tourists! They are depicted here along with a Lily cover. 
    Being former crew on the HS-748 from my time employed with Mt Cook Airlines this YS-11 has certainly been enjoyable to see in the sim, particularly down at NZMC & NZQN!

    FS2024  Version 2.1a 
    Remember to remove the default registration “ASXGS” under the identification tab when selecting the aircraft in the menu otherwise you will have this rego displayed on the tail section! (leave the section blank)

    Installation FS2020 Version 2.1
    1) Remove previous versions completely before installing new version v2.1
    2) Just unzip the downloaded zip file into your FS2020 community folder & enjoy!

    Think this guy is very excited to see the YS-11. Loving the liv, any chance of some other HS-748 for other airlines?

    Yes, was excited to see this available after waiting so long for a HS-748, this YS-11 looks mostly very similar to the 748!
    Why am I so interested ??....well I worked for Mount Cook Airlines for 15 years from 1975 and flew a lot on the 748 aircraft!
    As regards to other airlines liveries I haven't any plans to do any more currently. I'm still working on upgrading the FS2024 version of my livery, which has a number of issues to correct ....not easy & no paintkit available! Thanks for your message :-)

    Thanks for the great feedback! FS2024 version not far off, a few texture issues to overcome. In the meantime FS2020 looks great as in the screenshots !
