    Me alegra presentar la primera versión del aeropuerto de Málaga para MSFS 2024, aún queda trabajo por hacer :)

    Descripción del aeropuerto:

    El aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol está situado a 8 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad y perfectamente comunicado con toda la Costa del Sol. Es el decano de todos los aeropuertos españoles y uno de los emplazamientos originales de la primera línea aérea que se estableció en España en 1919.

    El tráfico más importante del aeropuerto es el de la Unión Europea. El Reino Unido es el destino con mayor volumen de pasajeros, encabezando la lista el aeropuerto de Londres / Gatwick, seguido de Manchester. Siguen a estos aeropuertos británicos Dublín, Amsterdam / Schiphol, Bruselas y Copenhague.

    El aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol también tiene un tráfico regular peninsular muy significativo con Barcelona, Madrid-Barajas y Palma de Mallorca.

    Airport description:

    Málaga-Costa del Sol airport is located 8 kilometres from the city centre and is perfectly connected to the whole of the Costa del Sol. It is one of the oldest Spanish airports as well as being one of the original locations of the first airline founded in Spain in 1919.

    Most of the traffic handled by the airport is from the European Union. The UK is the destination with the highest passenger volume, with London / Gatwick airport topping the list, followed by Manchester. These British airports are followed by Dublin, Amsterdam / Schiphol, Brussels and Copenhagen.

    Málaga-Costa del Sol airport also has very significant regular peninsular traffic with Barcelona, Madrid-Barajas and Palma de Mallorca.

    I do not have GSX app, but after download the GSX Profile metnioned seems the afcad path is not correct, try to find your path on your local machine or even delete this entry.

    Hi, just to announce a new release of the LEMG airport, this release was dedicated to create the ground, now we do not have more dust, grave , flowers on the aprons and runways, also a new stage has begin, the taxiway and edges lines, still working on decals and future updtes will come :)

    When you are able to get rid of the blurry ground textures, this could be a 5 star add on. Now it is WIP. Waiting for the update!

    Hi. Thanks for airport, at December morning dusk it looks good, BUT. I was starting from ramp 5 and had to taxi to rwy 30 and almost all the way some blurry ground texture came on top of airport ground texture. It did vanish about 50m in front of ac revealing real texture. Did look better at taxyway D (unesessary stuff was not there). Is there some files to remove in order to have your airport shown on top ofrest sim stock stuff or what could it be?

    Hi Andreo, right now you cannot do anything to improve it, it is something I am working on, the ground is not finished.

    Thanks for the excellent work. I have a question though. I had no PAPI lights on RWY31 on my landing. There was also a grass on the runway and taxiways clipping through (and thus obscuring the markings). Is there something I did wrong?

    Hi,
    You are not doing wrong, I am working on it, the papi lights are not there yet and in the meantime I create the ground with lines I had to leave the ground semi transparent to see the markings.

    I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong but the ground textures for this airport seems to be very blurry, as if the satellite imagery bleeds through the airport textures. Could also be msfs LOD issues. Hope you can look into it :)

    Hi Sh1take, thanks for your comment, right now the ground is the satellite image msfs offers, this way all the ground signs and lines are displayed, but yes, with low quality, I am working on it as other improvements like ground lines, some buildings, lights.
