Description
This add-on makes several targeted improvements to the default/autogen version of Appleton International Airport (KATW) in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Key Enhancements
- The recently expanded terminal is now complemented by a properly expanded apron and 10 reconfigured gates.
- General aviation (south) and air cargo (northeast) parking have been added to their respective aprons
- The auto-generated control tower has been modified to more closely resemble the real-world tower—much shorter and more accurate in scale.
- A redundant second oversized control tower on the southwest side of the field has been removed for better realism.
- Auto-gen aprons that had been covering the roadways to and near the terminal have been removed, revealing underlying satellite imagery.
- Runway instrumentation added, including 3D models for ILS and glideslope antennas, and PAPI lights
- Flashing runway guard lights added to runway entrances
- Hangars thoroughout the airfield have been updated with custom models borrowed from MSFS world/city updates
- The airport beacon tower has been moved ~700ft southwest and replaced with a more accurate model to match reality
- Additional parking lots have been added that were missing from the old Bing satellite maps
- Hand-placed cars have been added to all parking lots on the east side of the field (including terminal parking)
- Night lighting added to terminal area and taxiway lights added across the airfield

I was sad to hear that Air Wisconsin will no longer be. Along with Sun Country being sold, Minnesota and Wisconsin have lost some important airlines.

I would like to ask for your help. If possible, can you name Gates 1-10 (from Ramps to Gates)? This will enable the "Taxi to Gate" option from Ground after landing and exiting the active, vice just the "Taxi to GA parking". When I create a GSX file they show as "[none 1] [none 2], etc.. If I can be of any help, I would be glad to! I also will provide you/upload a current GSX file per current KATW airlines if you like. Thank you again!

1. Those textures you pointed out are from a hangar from Asobo's KSWF New York Stewart Intl (included in World Update II USA). If you haven't already installed that update, I'd suggest doing so.
2. There's actually a decent east-dipping slope in the terminal area. It took quite a bit of fighting with the terraforming tool to arrive at a solution that didn't artificially make the new terminal addition a 3-story building to account for the change in terrain. The compromise is a bit of an inward (toward the terminal) slope at the far western gates.
