Description
The Avro Anson was the RAF’s first monoplane with retractable undercarriage, introduced in 1936 as a maritime reconnaissance aircraft and later widely employed as a trainer and light transport. Nicknamed “Faithful Annie,” thousands served throughout the Second World War in a wide variety of roles.
This DSD Simulations package recreates the military Anson Mk I exclusively, with an emphasis on period authenticity. Two distinct cowl configurations are included – the standard early-war type and the smooth, later-style cowls – allowing for accurate representation of specific airframes.
All models are built natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator, ensuring optimal performance, modern PBR rendering, and full compatibility with the latest simulator standards. Each aircraft features a fully clickable cockpit, complete with authentic instrumentation and functional systems appropriate to the Mk I. Immersive details such as opening cockpit windows, functional bomb bay doors, and crew station interactivity enhance both realism and atmosphere.
This pack is designed for enthusiasts of classic aviation, warbird displays, and historical RAF operations, offering a faithful and versatile representation of one of the most significant British twin-engine aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s.
Big thanks must go to FSAddon, for providing the necessary permissions to convert this fabulous aircraft to MSFS standards. Copyright remains with FSAddon Publishing, and the original authors are Simon Smeiman, Chuck Jodry and Francois Dumas.

What I did notice is that no matter which position I place the four fuel valves in and how much fuel is actually in the aircraft, the fuel gauge in the engine cowling does not show fuel.
After spawning at the runway with engines running there is a fuel indication at 40.
When closing the fuel valves for that side, the engine continues to run for a bit and then the fuel indication on the gauge drops to zero and the engine stops.
Open the valve(s) again and start the engine. As the prop turns the fuel indication comes up and the engine starts.
When loading cold and dark I do see the fuel indication rise but there is no ignition it seems. There must be something missing between MAGS and the sparkplugs

No engines are running.
The same at every starting point: Runway/Parking/in the air
- nor after toggle slew mode which some times does the trick on other aircraft.
Previous versions (v1.1-1.2) worked for me.

Bugs aside, the cockpit visuals are somewhat lackluster, again, while I do recognize that this is a free add-on, I still will maintain that the visuals lag behind other freeware products currently available.
In closing, I would like to reaffirm and express my gratitude towards the developer for giving us a recreation of this piece of history, and I hope that they will take my feedback into consideration and continue to improve this wonderful aircraft.

MSFS 2020:
The on-screen parking brake lever is inoperative since the last update. Only a keybind can operate the brake but there is no lever animation.
Red handle on dashboard just toggles a single fuel tank valve. Does not seem to do anything else. Not sure what it is really for.
Would be nice to have the airspeed indicator in knots.
Rain enters cockpit.
Please enable the default TOGGLE_ LANDING_GEAR keybind like other aircraft addons do. I know that there are separate gear up and gear down keybinds, but that requires two separate actions to operate the gear and mapping two hardware controls instead of just one.
Although this aircraft does not have an autopilot it will respond to the MSFS default autopilot inputs because systems.cfg has the required entries. Most functions seem to work except altitude control. I am not a developer but I did some research and looked into the SDK and I have been able to restore autopilot altitude control by editing systems.cfg. There are still some issues with it and I am still playing around with the settings on a trial and error basis, but clearly full autopilot functionality is possible with this aircraft for those that want it. If I can do this with very limited knowledge a developer with a better understanding of how it all works should hopefully be able to implement this correctly.
Just providing feedback, no criticism intended.
Thanks.
PS. I am able to use the Logitech MultiPanel configured with SPAD.next and the in-game software panel for the PMS50 GTN 750 for autopilot inputs either singly or in combination.
