DISCLAIMER

MSFS2024 has ability to disable and enable contents via content manager. But i might be problematic experience, because all the addons cannot be disabled from there. How ever sim update 3 is presenting ability to disable all contents with editing content.xml file. Past weeks there is several reports saying that content.xml may have duplicate entries. This zip pack included duplicate remover from content.xml file. 

HOW TO USE IT?

Content manager is normally located in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024  folder (steam) or   C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache (store). But it is going to be changed, because in SU3 beta location is changed to under xboxID in those folders. Why? Because there can be multiple accounts playing same installation with diffrent inventories. So in SU3, location of content.xml is going to be changed.

Ok now you know, where you content.xml is. Here you make backup of the file somewhere safe. With vbs -scripts inside of this zip, you can disable/enable contents with single click! Why it is important? Well, because is could be pain in the ass to disable/enable those in content manager inside of MSFS 2024. You just need to place these scripts to same folder where content.xml is.

SCRIPTS INCLUDED

0) DuplicateRemovalToolScript (you need to download python to make this script work: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ )
- This script will remove duplicate entries from content.xml. It will also do backup. Do this either first or last. Doesent matter.

1) Template_scripts
- with these templates, you can make your own disabler/enabler scripts. Open script with notepad, edit and save.

2) ActivitiesDisabler
- This script disabled all the Activities, no need to be enabled if you dont use activities in MSFS2024.

3) AI traffic disabler
- Addon called GAmod need AI traffic to be disabled (only the flightplans of MSFS2024), so this is for the case. 

4) AI traffic models disabler
- Do you not want to use MSFS AI models? This is for you. Three alternatives in folder: all AI aircrafts, GA aircrafts, comercial airliners.

5) AIshipsDisabler
- MSFS ship traffic is a mess atm. You better use GAIST (freeware). So this disables all the MSFS ai ship models.

6) AnimalModelsDisabler
- Disables animal models. No need to them be enabled, if you have FAUNA = OFF.

7) ChallengesDisabler
- This script disabled all the challenges, no need to be enabled if you dont use challenges in MSFS2024.

8) DiscoveryFlightsDisabler
- This script disabled all the discovery flights, no need to be enabled if you dont use discovery flight in MSFS2024.

9) FlightTutorialsDisabler
- This script disabled all the flight tutorials, no need to be enabled if you dont use flight tutorials flight in MSFS2024.

10) FlyableAircraftsDisabler
- This is the most needed one. No more using content manager and slow process of disabling aircrafts. There is two versions of scripts: comercial jet airliners and ga aircrafts. There is also template script that you can make your own disabler/enabler scripts.

11) HandcraftAirportsDisabler
- there is this annoyng bug with handcrafted airports, where fps tanks your fps in final phase of your landing. You could also disable one aiport/time in content manager, but with this tool you can disable them all. This is personal matter, but i fly in VR only autogen airports in countryside and i dont have fps tank problems never because autogen airports.

12) HelipadsWorldWideDisabler
- there was this bug in Tokyo area, that tanked fps to the knees. Cause was helipads worldwide. There might be other areas also. If you dont fly helicopters and you dont mind helipads to be seeing, you can disable this feature and maeby gain some performance, because there is over 10k heliports in MSFS2024 modeled.

13) OilRigsWorldWideDisabler
- you dont need these, if you dont fly that kind a area in the seas.

13) POIsDisabler
- this is hard to disable, because POI´s gives you so much. But its there still to use it.

14) StaticGlidersWorldwideDisabler
- MSFS 2024 contains 2000 glider airports worldwide. Basicly most of them are just like static gliders injected in the area. They might take some performance, so if you dont mind them not to beein seeing, you can disable every static gliders worldwide with this script.

16) TrainingsDisabler
- This script disabled all the training, no need to be enabled if you dont use trainings in MSFS2024.

17) TraverlbooksDisabler
- disables travelbooks. 

18) TEST ENVIROMENT
- here you can test scripts with template content.xml before use it in your actual folder. There is also duplicates so remember to use that tool also (Python required).
