    LSZH Zurich PG Trees Fix MSFS2024 - Image 1

    Description

    This is a Fix for the ugly Photogrammetry trees around LSZH Zürich Airport in FS24.

    It removes the PG trees close to the airport and shows normal trees; it was designed to work with the MKStudios scenery and the Bijan tree mod, it will work with the default as well but maybe some trees won't be removed. This mod focusses on the trees Bijan missed removing in the villages around the airport.

    This lightweight mod has no negative effect on fps; if anything, it will improve performance as the sim has to load less photogrammetry close by the airport.

    Compatible with MKStudios LSZH and the Bijan tree mod.

    Please excuse the sloppy screenshots, I primarily did the mod for myself and just want to share it if anyone else wants to use it. :)

    If you want to learn how to remove PG trees in msfs 2020/2024 you can use this tutorial I also used to learn this.

    How to install:

    Simply drag&drop  saurer01-lszh-pg-tree-removal into your community folder.

    If you can't see the fix on the next sim startup, I recommend deleting the Scenery Index files.

    Its possible to fix Zürich City? Autogen Buildings are overlaping with photogramerty...

    I had it as well and remembered the reason on another upload. There is a file "bglindex.bout" in the zip file. Delete it and everything is fine. This file crashes the sim on startup.

    IDK why, but ur last 2 vegetation fixes just crash sim on startup. Msfs24, 1000+ mods installed and working, but ur fixes make a crash( Even if I leave JUST ur mod on, it crashes anyway. How could it be?

    It was you for whom the EIDW tree fix also didn't work wasn't it? Maybe add-on linker isn't compatible with it, otherwise it shouldn't even be able to cause crashes, as all it does is add PG exclusion polygons with some placement of default in-sim vegetation, there isn't even a single simobject in these mods.

    Yep, it didnt work but made no crash. But I have plenty of tree fixes and every of them installed via Linker and works well.
