    Description

    I present to you the HUD / MFD Enhancement Mod for the SCDesigns F-16. This mod is meant to better reflect the real life counter-part of the viper , in the sim. Thiis includes a static non-functional targeting circle*, a better horizone line* , and reposition of the heading tape*. Now including a small MFD update that shows other live aircraft with the proper square Icon. Its also including a new DED font and lighting display.   


    ****THIS MOD IS NOW DRAG AND DROP. EXTRACT FIRST ,THEN OPEN FOLDER AND READ TEXT DOC****

    *New update:
    Targeting Circle now bound to the HUD REJECT Toggle Switch. Right side of cockpit (Please see image for reference). Landing gear position still affects Heading tape position ONLY. 
    Landing Gear Down = Normal HUD
    Landing Gear Up = Heading taped moved to bottom
    HUD REJECT SWITCH UP = Targeting Circle OFF
    HUD REJECT SWITCH NEUTRAL/DOWN = Targeting Circle ON

    Am I crazy or the hud does not show the real speed anymore ? i have 100 kias difference between players with the same settings ,

    It's good work, but when I retract the landing gear the HUD freezes. Do you have a solution?

    I'm sorry, but I don't know what could be the cause of that. The coding has been working perfectly fine with my Viper in both 2020 and 2024 and some other users included. Is this happening to you in 2020 or 2024?

    Enhancement Mod for HUD? Really? What about placing the G-meter at the top left corner of the HUD? That would be a proper 'enhancement'. I have ZERO interest in any weapons HUD'ish symbols, this is MSFS - not DCS.

    Sorry for beeing blunt/direct, but PLEASE (anybody?) please move the G-meter at top left?

    Great job - congratulations! But another question: On your screenshots, the DED (Data Entry Display) looks different from the default DED of the F-16 from SC Designs (different font and different color). Your DED looks much better. Is there a way to change that? You can see the default DED on my attached screenshot. I fly the SC Designs F-16 from Just Flight/Aerosoft with all mods aviable in flightsim.to (MSFS 2020). Thank you very much and best regards!

    Unfortunately, the font used for the DED is for personal use only. I am not allowed to share it. I could try finding a similar freeware and unlimited use version but that will take some time.

    great mod. question . that targeting circle in real life its avalabile just in target mode right ? since is no functional weapon in msfs idk . but i will test it for the horizontal line .

    Im trying to figure out how to bind it to the master arm switch. But for now my only alternative is to bind it to the landing gear. Even though there are non-functional weapons, I believe its a nice addition to the realism aspect of the Viper.
