    Description

    This is a repaint package for the PMDG 777-300ER in colors of British Airways.

    The following 16 registrations are included: 

    G-STBA, G-STBB, G-STBC, G-STBD, G-STBE, G-STBF, G-STBG, G-STBH, G-STBI, G-STBJ, G-STBK,

    G-STBK, G-STBL, G-STBM, G-STBN (Great Futures sticker), G-STBO, G-STBP

    This livery comes with a custom tablet background (installation instructions included)

    Installation via PMDG Operations Center 3: 

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Run PMDG Operations Center 3. 
    3: Choose the 777-300ER, then Import.
    4: Choose the 'baw_commons.zip' folder and at least one of the registrations e.g. 'baw_gstbc.zip' and hit open.
    5. After installation was successful, start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!
    6: Leave the 'British Airways Commons' installed as long as you use this pack, as shared textures are stored there needed for all liveries of this package.

    Great liveries, much appreciated. Is there a way of installing these manually? OC3 keeps giving an error when trying to import them

    Thanks. Check you downloaded the right version for your sim. The larger download button on top is for 2024, the smaller one below is for 2020. The zip files you get got the sim version in their name as well.

    I'm on 2020 still and I can confirm I have downloaded the correct version. I'm in contact with PMDG as I get the error on every livery pack that I try to install including the NG liveries so in the meantime I've been installing livery packs manually however it doesn't seem to be working too well with this pack. I get missing textures when loading them in the sim

    Alright, check you have 'installed' the baw_commons as well (as per installation instruction above). If you install them manually you need to make sure to keep the name of this one like it is as all the other registrations depend on it. If you change anything with or within the baw_commons you'll get pink textures on the registrations, that's just normal.

    is there any way we can combine the texture files from Commons into the livery folder so that there is only the one livery listing? (in particular to avoid a blank commons tile in the new pmdg OC3)

    Are the liveries working for you? Just heard from another user OC v3 doesn't like my Commons folder. I haven't tried v3 yet, so I can't answer your question properly. The Commons folder contains alot of texture stuff for all registrations included. I chose this way to do those packs to decrease the file size in your drives, but there is an upload limit here as well. I don't know if I would hit it with the BA fleet but the EK fleet definitely. As a workaround here I could include thumbnails to the commons so they don't appear blank maybe with a disclaimer 'Don't use it'. Another way would be to included the texture file from the commons with e.g.G-STBA, so you would need to install this one + others of your liking, but I am not happy with that as well.
