The aircraft registered as OK-SWA is a Boeing 737 MAX 8 operated by Smartwings, a Czech airline. This particular aircraft was delivered to Smartwings in January 2018, making it approximately seven years old as of January 2025. Initially configured to accommodate 189 passengers in an all-economy layout, it was reconfigured in October 2024 to feature 18 business class seats and 150 economy class seats.
