    Many liveries available on flightsim.to for the magnificent Fokker F27 by BGaurant do not have GPS installed.

    If you want GPS on your favorite liveries, here is the method to do it.

    It is very simple and there are 2 steps described in the ZIP file to download (FRENCH / ENGLISH):

         Modification of an "aircraft.cfg" file

         Check of a "texture.cfg" file to make sure that the GPS will have the right texture and will not be pink!

    You can always turn off the GPS from the co-pilot's booklet.

    Good installation and happy flights.

    Si vous souhaitez un GPS sur vos livrées préférées, voici la méthode.

    C'est très simple et il y a 2 étapes décrites dans le fichier ZIP à télécharger (français / anglais) :

         Modification d'un fichier « aircraft.cfg »

         Vérification d'un fichier « texture.cfg » pour vous assurer que le GPS aura la bonne texture et ne sera pas rose !

    Vous pouvez toujours désactiver le GPS depuis le livret du copilote.

    That was exactly what I was looking for. I spend the whole day messing around with files and folders and it did'nt help.
    Thanks god that I found this instruction Never thought that it would be that easy to implement GPS on the airplanes.
    This was for me one of the most helpful hints ever!
    All my liveries work as a charm; now with GPS! :)

    And let me give you an advice. This plane is far better then the F27 inibuild/microsoft. Save your money !! And microsoft do not give a paintkit for the fs2020 version !! No more liveries !!!

    Hello,
    I use the Add On Linker and both files in the Linker and Community folder match. I'll review the whole process again maybe with a different livery. Can you suggest a livery that you tested with and know that works?

    Hello,
    I have over 20 liveries installed for the Fokker, and it works every time.
    I also use msfs addons linker, but only for liveries.
    My Fokker is installed in Community, so I moved it somewhere other than Community and validated it with Addons Linker; it also works fine.
    I don't really know what else to do!

    I followed your directions exactly and no GPS and no option in the co-pilot's book. Tried it on the f-27 Air New Zealand livery. Is there a livery that you know that works? Thank you

    Hello,
    I just made the modification as indicated.
    And it works fine; the GPS is there.
    If you're sure you copied and pasted the line
    panel = "\..\..\Bgt_F27500v2\panel.gps"; panel folder
    into the aircraft.cfg file, is the Fokker aircraft (version V2) installed in the "community" directory? Otherwise, it won't work.

    I have found another solution to this. I just copied Panel GPS from another plane with GPS and it works fine. But thanks anyway for inditacting what to do to get gps in all liveries. Solved

    I followed the instructions exactly, and the option for the gps doesnt come up in the notebook of the airplane. I copy-pasted the line, u sure it is correct?

    Yes I use it regularly and it works well. There have been 358 uploads and I have not had any bad comments.
