    Description

    This is a full GSX config for LSZH Zürich by MK Studios.

    It is aimed to be as realistic as possible. Tested in both msfs 2020 and 2024. For more detailed information, please open the readme.

    **Please remove any other LSZH Profile. If you had the fsdt scenery, GSX had one installed by default.**

     

    Profile contains:

    -GSX or Nool VDGS version (uninstall the Nool folder within the scenery to use GSX VDGS)

    -lite versions available with disabled walker waypoints to save performance

    -custom placed ground equipment

    -custom pushbacks including alternate pushback procedures as per irl

    -walker waypoints inside Dock A, E and on observation deck B (only in the full versions)

    -pax waypoints inside gates where they are visible

    -python script for custom stop position based on aircraft type (only with GSX VDGS, or "reposition aircraft at current gate")

    -handler script for the ground handling company to automatically set depending on user airline, disabled rear stairs on remote stands (as per irl) and preferring the modern style baggage tugs

    -remote de-icing pads

    -custom engine start points during pushback where it makes sense

    -you can find the correct fueling textures here: IPS I Skytanking I Jet Aviation it will choose one operator at random when having them all installed.

    -custom Bus livery is available here: LSZH Bus Livery (old design) I LSZH Bus Livery (new design)

     

    HOW TO INSTALL:

    unzip the file and place one of the .ini files along with the .py and handler.py scripts it in here:  %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS (user>AppData>Roaming>virtuali>GSX>MSFS)

    Please make sure that no other LSZH Profile is in the folder.

    GSX ignores the pushback path that you've set from gate A15

    So I've tried all three pushbacks at A15 and couldn't reproduce any issues. However, GSX 3.9.0 introduced a bug where the gate next to the selected one was chosen, maybe this caused the issue on your side? This was fixed with a silent update, so hitting "check" in the fsdt installer should fix it. If you're still seeing this afterwards, I'd be thankful for some more information (what exactly happens, which plane, happening on all three pushback routes etc.)

    Hi,

    I downloaded the Nool VDGS full version, but the VDGS is not activating in the sim.

    The noolaero VDGS files are correctly installed in the scenery folder, so the installation seems fine.

    Is there anything else I might be missing or any additional steps required to make it work?

    Hi, that's an interesting issue, since most of the time it's the other way around :D (user doesn't want Nool and gets it anyway).

    I can't see the profile interfering with it, except maybe if you installed it via Contrail (they disable Nool as a service when the GSX profile gets installed).

    Is Nool working at other supported airports? Did you try re-installing the scenery?
    If you can aswer both with "Yes" I'd raise a bug report via MKStudios Discord or file a ticket with their support.

    Any chance for custom GSX VDGS Dock information like IRL (TSAT,TTOT,CTOT etc.)

    Yes! I actually have that ready, (showing only callsign + CTOT, TSAT and TTOT like it does IRL with data from Simbrief) and it's coming with the next update. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you want to test it, since I don't 100% trust it works flawlessly on arrivals/turnarounds.

    I still get double VDGS when using gsx, even though i deleted the noolaero module from the scenery folder. Any solutions?

    Did you delete the folder after the last scenery update?
    You have to do it every time the scenery receives an update

    The profile works great except when I am pushing back from a B gate like B35 and need to face W on November and I click the option, I get pushed all the way to facing N on Foxtrot

    Quick follow up: I just finished the next update for the profile coming with the scenery update later this week and checked the Dock B pushbacks. They all seem to be set up correctly. I'd suggest you to check if no other profile for LSZH is installed and re-install the profile.

    Just downloaded the light Nool version but see how the .py file has GSX in its name (LSZH-MkStudios-GSX.py).

    Is that correct?

    That is correct, the .py file is shared across all versions and its name is unrelated to the profile name, it works regardless :)

    you have to delete the Nool folder if you want to use the GSX VDGS
