Description
Fokker f27-MK 500 standalone new aircraft with custom full working cockpit in Air Inter configuration for MSFS 2020/2024.
Two versions of cockpit, both in Air Inter configuration (with Tapir autopilot), one in french (like the initial real one) and the other one in english.
Although the plane has still been compiled with msfs2020 sdk, this new version has been reworked to provide compatibility to fly the plane in MSFS2024 the same way as in MSFS2020 (cold &dark gate to gate flights tested both in MSFS2020 & 2024). As this not yet a native MSFS2024 plane, new features will not be available.

Several improvements like: Gauge brightness, gps linked to new version, gps box light, rudder max strength to provide compatibility with real max crosswind speed, inverters tests, 32 prop lights correction before start, msfs pilots, gear movement time, external sound optimization from rear point of view, glideslope automatic approach improved (not until ground, notwith strong wind, radio-altimeter must be ON). Major modification in code which gives compatibility with MSFS2024. If you are MSFS2020 user, BACKUP YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION before installing this new one in case of troubles (MSFS2024 compatibility needed changes in wasm code)!

I've got one problem with turning on and off of the autopilot with the gns variant after cold and dark start. Am I doing something wrong?

Registration: HZ-BOF
Era: 1970s
Livery: White fuselage, green cheatline, "Saudia" titles in English and Arabic, green tail with sword logo
Notes: Saudia operated F27-500s on domestic routes before the F28. HZ-BOF is confirmed in the fleet records.

Will try and check further to see if it was user error or something.
Edit: Today it was working as intended. Not sure if it was just user error on my test flight. It only drives the little extra gauge (so not the main HSI) but the autopilot was able to follow it.

Just one question ......with the GNS530 version you have an option to hide the GPS by the Co-pilots handbook but if using the KLN90B version there is no option appearing in the copilots handbook to hide that GPS. Can this hide option be added to the handbook for the KLN90B? Cheers, Ross

This would be more complex in the case of KLN90B because there are also a switch and a CDI with a different position of the AMV warning light...This display/hide option will be available in the FH227B (coming in next months) but, in the case of this F27-500 cockpit, KLN90B version is rather an other cockpit version than just an option...

Scheme details:
- White fuselage
- Thick red cheatline along the window line
- Solid red tail with italic "Turkish Airlines" text in white
- Black nose radome
- "THY Türk Hava Yolları - Turkish Airlines" titles on the left, reversed on the right
- No tulip logo - that came in 1991
Turkish flew the F27-100/200 from 1960-1973, so this scheme fits the era.

BTW - my mistake, the KLN90B fires up fine. I forgot the little "PUSH/ON" knob ... duh! Still - I can't seem to enter an ILS frequency into that thing either ;)

Waiting for this, gps tacking in GPS mode can be used to follow the final approach, GS capture mode will work as it is already a custom code (manual approach yet remains more fun).

I noticed that on 2024, multi state buttons only move back to their initial position if you use "legacy" cockpit interaction system and not "lock".
