    Description

    Custom new standalone Fairchild FH 227B plane and full working custom cockpit.

    Although this plane can fly in msfs2020 and 2024 (PC version), it is mainly made for msfs 2020 as it compiled with msfs2020 sdk.

    Partial compatibility allow to fly the plane the same way in msfs2024 as in msfs2020 but new msfs2024 features will not be available.

    This version is the FH227 B version which has been the most built.

    This add on provides 4 fuselage configurations:

    • Small cargo door & Ozark 1ntenn1s
    • Small cargo door & Mohawk / Northeast antennas
    • 13 windows Piedmont fuselage
    • Large cargo door with Mohawk antennas

    And 2 full working cockpits configurations:

    • Ozark
    • Piedmont

    Was one of the first Airliner rides I ever had... we had a '59 Comanche 250 so airliners weren't the 'normal' trip conveyance to Southern Illinois for the Summer breaks to the family homestead. Thanks!!

    Thank you very much for the plane, it’s wonderful!!! But in the MFS2020 version, I’m getting a constant error, it’s looping. And because of this, micro‑freezes occur:

    Hi, when exactly and in which configuration do you get those error messages and how : is it when you select the plane, during yhe flight, when exactly? (so that I could test this because as you can guess, I didn’t saw any of those error message). Also what is your configuration?...

    They appear when loading the aircraft onto the airfield. I see these errors in the console. 20 seconds after loading, the console memory seems to get full (after reaching approximately 34,700 lines) and micro‑freezes begin.

    Thank you so much! I really hope this gets fixed. Your plane is wonderful, I love flying it, but these micro-freezes are really annoying.

    I’ve found the cause of the bug and solved it, I will send an update soon (I hope this will solve those micro freeze because I’ve didn’t notice this in my configuration)...

    Apart from performance and cockpits the aircraft structure itself is different and shown in the manual on page 6.

    Soundpack: 5*
    Ai Autofly: 3* (requires manual takeoff and landing, flies alright inflight)
    Textures: 5* polished and pretty solid for freeware
    Usefulness in fleet: 2* (this is a carbon copy of the F27 freeware, just the american-stretched aircraft model variant) So, I'd go with the Fokker 27 due to its circular windows... but overall, both aircraft are a bit of a stretch for me. On one hand, they are a flyable high quality free overwing turboprop, but on the other hand, there are not a lot of liveries for them, and they are sluggish to fly compared to the ATR72 freeware.

    haha yeah - of course - for realism... in terms of raw capability of the ai autofly thingy within the game though, it does everything except takeoff roll and landing

    You've mentioned not a lot of liveries for them. F27 has 140 liveries published ( https://cs.flightsim.to/liveries/fokker-f27-mk-500 ), I myself published 5-6 or so? Fairchild has just been released. Wait a little, liveries will come :) This freeware is equal in quality to some of the payware aircrafts in my opinion.
