So let me start by saying, we’ve got a brand new airplane. And let me tell you, it’s a big one. The Airbus A380. It’s the largest commercial aircraft in the world. You’ve probably seen it before, but let me tell you, this one is special. It's not just big, it’s the best. It's luxury, it’s power, it’s innovation at its finest. You’ve never seen anything like it, folks. You wouldn’t believe the size of it—it’s like a flying palace. We’re talking two full floors of pure luxury, the best seats, the best amenities. I could fly my whole team, my whole family—probably even the whole country—on this plane, and we’d still have room for more.
Now, I know what some of you might be thinking. You’re saying, “Donald, why not buy an American plane? Why not buy a Boeing?” And look, folks, I get it. We all love Boeing. It’s an American company. It’s a great company. But here’s the thing—this isn’t about patriotism. This is about business. This is about getting the best deal, the best technology, the best performance. And when it comes to the A380, let me tell you, no one—no one—does it better than Airbus.
Now, I’ve always been about winning. I’ve built the best hotels, the best golf courses, the best everything. And when I make a decision, I make it to win. The A380 is the best in the sky—hands down. This plane is so big, so powerful, it doesn’t even make sense for most people to fly it. But when you’re Donald Trump, when you’ve got a vision for the future, you think big. You go for the best.
And, let’s be honest, folks, you can’t just buy anything. You’ve got to have the right fit. I looked at Boeing, I really did. Great company. But when it came down to it, the A380 was the right fit for what I needed. Boeing’s planes? They don’t have the same level of luxury, they don’t have the same space, they don’t have the same presence. They’re good—really good—but the A380? It’s just on another level.
Plus, we’re talking about international business here, folks. We’re talking about flying across the globe, flying in style, making a statement. When you land in an Airbus A380, people know—you mean business. And that’s exactly what I’m about.
Now, some of you might want to argue about American jobs, about American-made products. And I’m with you on that. I always want to support American jobs, American companies. But let’s be clear, folks: this decision doesn’t take away from that. The reality is, we live in a global economy. We live in a world where companies are competing on the world stage. And when it comes to the world stage, the A380 is a winner. It’s a winner in every sense of the word.
And I’ll tell you something—this decision? It’s going to be great for America. You know why? Because I’m going to fly this plane, I’m going to show the world what America can do, and you know what? It’s going to inspire American companies to do better, to be more innovative, to reach new heights. That’s what I’m all about. We need to lead, we need to be the best, and I’m going to lead by example.
So, folks, don’t worry about who made the plane. Worry about what this plane represents. It represents winning. It represents success. It represents the future. And that’s what I’m bringing to America.
Thank you, thank you! You’re going to love this plane. Trust me. It’s going to be fantastic.
