Description
The Turku international airport (EFTU) is situated north of the town of Turku in SW Finland. The airport is currenty used for scheduled flights by Air Baltic, populAir, SAS, TUI and Wizz Air. There are currently scheduled flights to and from Mariehamn, Gdansk, Riga, Rhodos and Stockholm. Two cargo terminals handles the cargo traffic. The Frontier Guard and the FinnHEMS medical helicopter service also have facilities at the airport and there is frequent GA traffic.
NOTE! Tested and working as such also in MSFS 2024, except for the very bad DEM in this area in the new simulator. To make this airport work correctly in MSFS 2024 you must install the Finland Airport Heightmaps (+DEM) by @Morko addon, available on https://fsaddons.fi/index.php/useful-add-ons. Also read the NOTE below!
MAIN FEATURES- Runway, taxiways, aprons and markings very close to real life
- Almost all airport buildings and lots of other objects are modelled and true to real life, including the FinnHEMS building
- Available parking spots are numbered according to real life
- Runway lights, PAPI and ALS for runways 08/26
- Correct taxiway names and taxiway lighting and taxiway signs
- Two working fuel stations
- Windsocks and technical equipment correctly placed
- Adjusted mesh and vegetation in the vicinity of the airfield
- Aprons, custom made buildings, car parking and street lights
- Helipads and one parking at the FinnHEMS base station

To see all objects at EFTU you have to download and install FISD Library for MSFS2020, version 1.4 or newer from https://fsaddons.fi/msfs2020-sceneries/download/2-msfs2020-sceneries/28-fisd-library
This scenery is adapted to work only with the mesh produced by Morko. This addon adds 4-5m DEM to all Finnish airports and it is available at his OneDrive site. The link can be found here: https://fsaddons.fi/index.php/useful-add-ons

EEPU - Pärnu airport

EERU - Ruhnu airport
